I dont think a brushless set up would work in them old RC10's

1. they wernt designed for the abuse of a brushless
2. Parts are going to be really hard to come by.

My suggestion, run a 17t or 19t brushed motor and possibly a 2s lipo if your going to go that route. give you speed but not the damage of a brushless set up. just my .02 cents. I had a hard enough time finding parts for a RC10T3.

Most parts seem all over Ebay. The drive stuff is the same as most traxxis stuff. I ran a 19t with a 3 cell lipo and other than the smoke from the burning up motor  it worked well "thumbsup" I want some more speed. Its still fun just as it is, but its a tad pokey.

i did a little reserch an found that the mamba max is a 100 amp system, i couldnt find what the mamba pro was kicking, but i bet its less, "thumbsup"

dan what you need is a veleneon motor from traxxas it will be perfect an cheep but you pry wont want to run the 3s might be a bit much, just remeber the three second rule, run your buggy for a couple of minutes the put your finger on your motor for three seconds, if you cant, then you need a gearing change"thumbsup"
