Well, to bring up an old topic a few pages back. The rumors about the Frankenmuth Hobby possibly going under... Dont know that for sure but this I do know. Iv gone in there several times over the past year and EACH and EVERY time i go in there, they have NOTHING!

Today I go in there to find basic small things that every hobby shop in america should have in stock, Traxxas Rod Ends, and set screws. Now i know that he is mainly a plane guy and alot of guys in frankenmuth are into planes but come on. Im not sure how well the bussiness dose but if your gona concider youself a HOBBY shop get some things in there!

Today when I go in there i was expecting to see something possibly new, ya know what have you gotten in and what not, but yeah the only thing iv seen in there new today was some FISH equipment. Dont get me wrong have no problem with that, I got a 40gallon tank in the Living room. But to sell all this junk dosent keep me really wanting to go back, but yet I give them the benifit of the doubt and try them FIRST! If you even go on Traxxas webpage they feature them as one of the "hobby shops near you" which would suggest having a great deal of Traxxas parts in stock at all times, their Traxxas "parts bin" concisted of a 12"x 15" Plastic container with T-maxx stuff and small other thing.

I even looked on the wall for some 3x16mm or 3x20mm grub screws for my aluminum links....you guessed it lol NOTHING.

Sorry, rant over.

BUT!! On a side note. I did notice a good crawling spot along the CASS river behind ZENDERS today, not really "rocks" but slabs of busted concreate / limestone banks along the river.

man i just got a sweet deal, brand new 1/8 late modle with new mamba monster, new losi 5 cell, new radio n receiver not sure what the radio n receiver are or the servo but i got it all for two twenty eight man i love ebay :lmao: im looking at some rally car bodies now, gonna have me a rally basher i was watching some vids on this late modle doing 81mph with the set-up i have coming , i know i said id never buy another ofna but i couldnt turn this one down for that price, they guy never even ran it on the ground

yeay they look cool but i dont know about xtm if there anything like ofna pry wouldnt like them either, oh ya im doing the trade for the dingo, ax10 artr, n a set of axils n trans should have that by friday wont have the ofna till next week some time n im still waiting for my poison dart :lmao:fun fun should keep me busy for a while :ror:

Nick, a Chicagoland layout is not going to work. It is not nearly as technical as we want. I will figure something out and show you guys next time we meet.

lol yea it was mike he was there before I started coming out I think? First started out running slashes with us then he started running the sc10 with us back when nick had the old track

Well i got boured today and made a trip to radio shack, picked up a few LED's and a battery box and went to work. results are I HAVE LIGHT!! lol, I will try and post pics up later after it gets dark, I'm gona have to get some brighter WHITE lights for up front, but if i wouldnt of burnt up the fist set i would of had me some LED's front and rear for under $10. and still have a bunch of green and yellow bulbs left..
