Home sick today. Gotta stop making out with Jay. LOL Please.
Okay, so last night I started on a new bumper that sits back farther and can hold my winch. Got the basics done and went to hook up the winch to check clearance and I can't find the nut and bolts that hold the winch down. What are the odds that Dan will have something that will work. Fingers crossed. I'll try to finish the bumper up and post some pics.
Looking forward to a full day on Sunday.

Polar Bear Run
I just watched a Polar Bear Club run from Colorado. We need to do this. Looked like a blast. They did straight trail runs and then they did a actual comp type run in a creek/drainage ditch. Looked really cool ( no pun intended).

Winch
Well I was able to get the nuts and bolts from Dan so I got everything hooked up. Need to clean it up and paint but going to wait until after Sunday too make sure it's working.
I don't know if you can see it in the pictures but the second time I ran the winch I snapped the hook off. Going to have to build one. Also found out that the switch on my radio isn't going to work. I must not have had the steering hooked up when I tested it before. Because no matter what the setting I've tried, whenever I turn the wheel the winch goes. So for now I'm just running the winch off of the controller that came with it. Maybe my next upgrade will be a new Radio. Time to start saving.

I looked at those but they say that they only work for their brand. Does anyone know somebody that uses them for 3r winch?
