Water proofing is easy.Like the idea of water proofing and being more than just a crawler. Must look into that when I get everything working well. lookin forward
I don't read the thread for a few hours and people start mutiplying. JK congrats.8)tell tom and jill i said congrats on the kid - and yes there will be a track in the back yard this summer for sure - i hope to see you all this sunday!
Well, the issue most folk raise is clean up. I run my rig in the mud, squirt it off with the hose when I get home and just give it a good once over with a shop towel and my rig looks good. About once a month I tear it down to inspect it any way and it gets a good cleaning then. So if you like to play in the mud then enjoy, if you like your shelf queens then whatever. As stated I like to enjoy my toys more then others.;-)Those pics of the mud runner are sweet! I think I may need to start a new project.
And really; are people that afraid to run their equipment in water? Sorry, just that when running all my stuff over the years I have only ever lost one expensive servo and a decent ESC(which were both my fault). IDK maybe I'm just lucky. But it sounds like fun to me. "thumbsup"
Right on!"thumbsup"I'm with you. Its a toy. Play with the damn thing.
