Here's a couple of pics of the added tube work, it was only 4 bars but I felt they were needed to complete the look. Shon did an awesome job on this chassis and it is certainly the nicest R/C I've ever touched.

Thanks Ryan! I started making body panels for it finally, progress pics to come sometime this year.

Not much of an update, but an update none the less. Its sad to say, I haven't touched this project in a looong time. But, with renewed interest, I'm hoping to have her done soon. Bad Mojo and I will be attending the RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge in August. No better way to spend my birthday! So, I'd better get to work...

I started with the rolling stock first. The front tires got a heavy trimming to the center lugs. The swampers really pack dirt and mud into the center lug area. They don't clean out very well and when full of mud, have very little grip. The rears are cut as well, just not as drastically.
I vented the Mayhems according to Dan's recommendations, leaving out 2 inner bead lock screws per wheel. Which I like as now I can seal them up easily for water use. The CI double deuce foam were a little tricky to vent. I ended up using a very small saw blade and carving a little channel in the hard foams to let the air get around it(sorry forgot to take pic). They now feel perfect. I left the wheels unweighted and plan to add knuckle weights to the axles.

Now I'm working on body panels. I used the roof section for my first piece. Using a trick I learned from Wrecker, I laid strips of wide masking tape across the bars and traced the panel shape onto it. Then just pulled it from the chassis, laid down on some aluminum, and just simply cut out. Very easy way to make your own panels.

This could get nominated for a slow ass builder award lol...
