Axial 1/18 Yeti (and Yeti Score)

The average width of the 1/18 scale is 7 in, the AR44 is 8.9 in
I'm not gonna be surprised if Axial get the AR44 with short lockouts as rear axle of the Yeti jr., (or even keep the wider width).
That will save a bunch time developing the parts and at the same time already with some aftermarket support.
And definitely 1.9 wheels.

These are 96mm eye to eye. The Yeti and Bomber are 142mm and the TH is 116mm. That's nearly 30% shorter than the 1/10 Yeti. Just the color.....

Those are replacements for the 1/12 wltoys 12428 and or the feiyue twin hammers-esque knock off, nothing secret there.

More than a week since the inadvertent leak and still nothing form Axial or RCDriver magazine... The long wait slowly erode the interest. I'm starting to worry that they might just miss the boat.

I had already decided that I would ask Mrs. Clause for a Proline Ambush, but I'm going to hold out a bit longer to see if I want a Yeti Jr instead. We've got a bunch of 1/18's already, but one more wouldn't hurt.... if it can actually drive on dirt. I've never been one to get so caught up in the suspense of upcoming models (my motorcycle buddies are already getting antsy looking towards 2018 models!) But I've got a lot of time on my hands lately, so I'll play along.

If it's on the "Xmas list" it's got to be released soon. Time's a ticking.
Most likely, it's probably another "let's accidentally list it it" or stage a fake drone flyover or some other hairbrained marketing idea. Just issue a press release with some facts/pics, price, and estimated release date. Boom, done. Enough with the games already! These teasers get old.

Since i didn't like my Yeti overall i missed this announcement. When a 1/18 Bomber comes out i'll bite.
It's a shame that's only a 2 channel though. Hopefully it will be tiny & fit in those Orlandoos.
