Hey guys, I'm just in the middle of ordering a summit; but before I do Im tryin to figure out a few specifics. I originally wanted a scx10 and I can buy just abour any body I want and throw it on the chassis. With the summit still being 1/10th scale (of a monster truck) will any body still fit? whats the deal with this. I am wanting a f150 (old school body) or a new style f350 body but I do not even know where to go look for this. Can anyone help

Revo/Tmaxx 3.3 bodies fit well. (The chassis was lengthened 30mm to enhance stability with the bigger engine.)

Revo/Tmaxx 2.5 and older tmaxx bodies fit so so. In my opinion they are too short and look funny.

Proline makes a sweet 79 F250 s/cab body that will fit perf on the Summit. They also make a 08 F350 body. Basically look for a Revo/T-maxx 3.3 body, any one of them will fit the Summit nicely. I have a Landcruiser body I bought when I had my e-maxx... lil short for the Summit but will still fit. Check out Jconcepts or Proline body shells. They are the toughest in the business, good luck.

I should add that they fit well but not perfect. (See how the wheel wells dont quite lineup with the tires) You might have take a little extra out of the wheel wells so your a arms don't rub also depending on what body you get.

I have a friend that runs an 1/8 grave digger body that looks a little better for scale purposes.

What wheels are on the ford they look awesome.

both sets of those wheels look stock... one just has the chrome stripped.. my question is where did you get the bead rings?

Look under his user profile for previous threads posted. If I recall correctly he made them , specially weighted also.

Alright, so now my other question. The summit has the external roll cage. If I switch to a standard body I will no longer have a cage of any sort. Is there a cage I can buy that will fit inside of the body for hard rollovers/bad landings from jumps

Your right noir, I made them I posted them in another forum though. The fronts are 9oz and steel. The rear are aluminum hollowed out to look the same. I think they're like 1-1/2oz.
