i need some help here,
actualy im in Indonesia but my parents lives in melbourne
i want to buy rc kit from rc4wd store, but rc4wd cant ship it to indonesia and i think i can ship it to my parents in melbourne
and when i ask the australian costum if the goods is under value of $1000 it's free except i use air or sea cargo, i have to compleet all of a Self Assessed Clearance (SAC) Declaration
my question is if i use EMS or DHL for my kit am i have to complete SAC declaration?
or i just pick it up with air mail?
is that air mail it's mean post or different?
because for goods come with post it will be released duty and tax free by Customs for delivery direct to the addressee

i'm sorry for my bad english and my bad question

If u r planning to come over to Melbourne for a holiday maybe just pick the chassis up and bring it to Indonesia. Rather than the customs holding it and there's a chance for ur stuff not goin anywhere, lol.
i'm not sure bout the customs and everything though since i never done that before. just tryin to help..."thumbsup"

thanks for the advice, yes it looks like I'll go to oz next year to visit my parents with my wife, my parents had to go to Indonesia this December, but apparently they could not go
I can not wait to take my kit that I ordered from rc4wd, still have to wait several months longer
Indonesian customs is very bad, if the bureaucracy in Indonesia is good, I do not have to send my order to Australia and wait long to play it, hopefully Indonesian government can quickly fix their bureaucratic system

There are con men all over the world;-) but yes ive found it hard to buy off some guys in the states due to jerks like this
