A.S.T.R. Scale Comp #2 - October 23rd - Bad Lands

*** This is our second pre-season comp. ***

- Comp #2 is at Bad Lands out toward Canyon Lake. Here is a link to directions from the 60 and Idaho. https://goo.gl/maps/R56P81xTc7C2

- We will be running three classes, each class will run 3 courses with an 8 minute time limit each:

- Class-1 “Street"
• Description - A street legal off-road vehicle that you would drive to work or the trail head and outfit like an expedition vehicle such as the Camel Trophy truck D90 rigs.

- Class-2 “Trail”
• Description - A stock vehicle that has been modified to become a capable trail rated rig and is not necessarily street legal.

- Class-3 “Modified”
• Description - An off-road vehicle that you would build from the ground up and might see in a TTC/KOH type competition.

If you are unsure which class your truck belongs in please take a look at the SORRCA rules for clarification.

- For those that haven't been to a A.S.T.R. scale comp yet dues are $5 a comp to be paid at tech/check in.

- I will be on site to set up courses by 6:30. If you are able to lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated as there are 9 courses to set before we can start.

- Tech opens at 7:00am and closes at 8:00am. Please have your scale points calculated before hand to help speed things along. If you are unsure we will help you figure them out

- We will have a short drivers meeting at 8:00am

- Courses will open @ 8:30am and run until we are done

- Judging will be shared by all drivers. After your run you will judge the next driver and so on.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you all on October 23rd

- Brian Muzzy
