I have 2 accenders that I run al lot out at France Park. Thats my usual crawling spot when my home course gets boring. 20 minutes from the house. I’m up to meet anyone there anytime has some real hidden treasures to crawl.

Don’t do social media but the wife does. What’s the group for local Indiana crawling? I’ll have her check it out. We just sold our 1:1 rig so we have much more free time to place now.

I'm in scottsburg indiana, mostly crawl at the fall of the Ohio. Also make trips to Kentucky to Rochester dam and red River gorge.

Couple of us located near Mitchell IN. New to the crawlers but have been doing some trail driving in Springmill State Park.

There's a pretty good group on the FB, Indiana RC Crawlers. We're mostly scale guys, and meet up for different events around the state, some just fun runs, some comps. And we try to go as a group to the bigger events. KNK, Beat the Creek, Feelin Frosty, etc. I just posted about a meet up, in a couple weeks at a venue were trying to get established.

They should also see about opening the group, so non facebook users could see the events.

Well folks, all went well with the Park Board meeting at Yorktown. They are excited to have us. They are willing to help as well. First, they are not only willing to share the ground, they also are providing gate flags(thanks to Tim Caldwell and his persuasion tactics.....500 flags)and will carry us on their advertising including some radio air time. We have a few red tape details to work out, but nothing major, nothing to hold us up. So it's official......Yorktown Trail Park presented by Indiana RC Crawlers. And believe this.....the board insists Indiana RC Crawlers in the name! Protects them from 1:1 rigs that might take interest and in full support of our group.
So, a year ago, around central Indiana, we had to drive sometimes half a day to attend a comp. A year later we are going to have a minimum of 4 places to truck. We have Anderson Extreme RC Park, Loko RC Park, Yorktown Trail Park and for any weather, any season Hobbytown North Crawl Spaces. And on a short drive, not to forget Creekside Trails.(Lucas Banks) one other I know of but I don't know much about, The Hill.

With all this, what a summer to come!! A lot of trucking opportunities, just about every weekend at one place or another. I hope your rigs are up and ready!

Schedule for YTP will be posted later today. First date set for April 20th, details later today.

I'm going to update as much as I can. Our first committee meeting for Yorktown Park is next week. That should give us a lot more details as far as event schedule.

We have a tentative schedule set up as follows:

April 20, no fees but course will be set up. Also a truck raffle.
May 18, a simple comp. $5 entry
July 3, I know this is odd, a Wednesday and a holiday, however the park board would like to see something during the holiday celebrations, there is a lot going on that week with carnival and fireworks obviously.

August 23rd, a Friday, we could use some participants with your rigs(as many as you would like to bring) it is an event called "Touch a Truck". The town opens another park to fire trucks, tractor trailers, construction equipment, farm equipment, they all set up for kids to check out. We are going to set up a small portable course to show off our rigs/skills to let people know what we are about.
Aug 24 comp
Sept 14 comp
Oct 12 comp
Nov 2 end of season celebration

All proceeds will be split, 25% going to the Parks Dept. After all they have offered up their machinery and equipment. The remainder will go into prizes and charitable organizations or individuals. All will be announced.

And don't forget just 57 days until the first comp of the season for Creekside.
March 30th.
