I’ve read through the forums and actually ordered a alum steering knuckle that will fit a axial scx10.2 or ax10. It “fit” on the rs10 xt, but the knuckle arm angle was wrong for the steering link, which made it too long. Is there a non-plastic knuckle out there that will work with the original steering link? Will a alum knuckle for the Redcat Everest 10 or gen7 work?

I'm not familiar with the rs10 but it would seem easier to get a new link of the correct length than to try to find another knuckle that fits. eBay has a lot of different sized links available including those that can use turnbuckle ends so that you can fine tune the length.

I just did this mod a couple months ago. Short rod ends or just cut down the stock ones. A little bit off each side is plenty.

10-4, I’ve got some short rod ends on the way. As well as some high clearance links for the suspension and front steering. This is a starter rig for me because I didn’t want to jump into a high end rig right off the bat. I’ll have to admit this thing is a beast. It’s really fun to drive.
