AARRGGGHHHH Paypal/Ebay RANT I WIN!

How the hell else could he have described it? Look at the pictures, look at the title, look at the category it's listed in, look at the description....seriously? Oh wait, I guess he could have put in the measurements but some dumb shit would probably misread that...."Oh, I thought it said 3 FEET, not INCHES, ooooops." The point is, no matter how well you try to describe something, some people just will not get it.

I'm just saying no where in his description does it say it's a "scale" hi-lift jack or how big it is. Just that it was built by a member of some scale4x4 forum which I doubt anyone outside of this hobby would know what that is. Not everyone reads the categories either. They simply type in a few key words and then click on a title. It's sad I know, we have to dumb everything down for the stupid people in this world.

Trust me, I'm on the poster's side on this especially since I know what I'm looking at and actually know how to use ebay. The buyer obviously phuked up and went about handling this in the wrong way. I hope she has to eat it for how she went about it and what she wrote.

Next time take a picture of it next to your penis, that may really confuse her as to how big it may be.:lmao:

"Why did he take a picture of that jack next to an albino cactus?"

Thats funny, I wonder if the chick would be mad if she got him in the mail instead of a dildo

:lmao::lmao:

Please tell me your not for real? the TITLE of the auction was "Tamiya Axial Scale Rock Crawler Hi-Lift Jack" It says scale right in there.... Plus it says scratch built! and she admitted she didnt know anything about jacks because she is a women and never used one .

And its not my fault she didn't read the categories, I could have listed it 1000 different ways and the simple truth is, if you don't read your not going to know...Plain and simple.

Its like some of the people here do, you do a build thread, list the specs above the 8-10 pics you post and 90% of the time there is some dumbass who says "Hey sweet rig breh, what ESC is in it??" meanwhile, right at the top is clearly stated : ESC- Tekin FXR.

People need to pay attention, if you cant afford to pay attention then you should be a buying a hi-lift jack of any kind...Maybe they should invest the money in getting some meds to help them focus better

I can't believe you'd even begin to see any of this crazy woman's side of the story.

In my opinion, if you even read only 50% of the auction listing content, it would be as painfully obvious as the nose on my face that it was not a real jack for a real truck. The only excuse she really has is not being familiar with the product, which IMO makes her guilty of not doing the proper research on a potential purchase. This is her own fault and the proper thing to do on her part would be to eat the loss, and as she said use it for a christmas tree ornament or something (if her husband really is an avid off-roader, you'd think he'd be stoked to have a very nicely made 1:10th scale Hi-Lift jack on his X-mas tree, right?)

There's no question what happened - she did not read the auction!! She saw the picture, recognized what she thought was what her husband wanted, got excited about the low figure the auction was at, and pulled the trigger. While I have to say it is one of the nicest looking 1:10th scale Hi-Lift jacks I've ever seen, the background of the photo is so obviously a tabletop that anyone with half a brain could put 2 and 2 together. She does'nt even posess the intelligence to fully comprehend the photo! The low shipping price should also be a total flag-raiser to anyone with any Ebay experience like she claims to have, but then again, if you're stupid, you're stupid...

Good thing she didnt buy your Yota body .... Imagine her face when the mail showed up and with a 16'' box.

My brother had the same thing happen. Sold a Truggy on the bay, the buyer gave positive feedback and ran the truck for a month. Throws a paypal dispute after having the thing for almost 4 weeks and he lost the money. Kind of glad my Tundra didnt sell just because of the chance of a bad buyer.

All of these are reasons why I do not sell anything on e-bay anymore. I rarely buy and only do so from power sellers....

Agreed. I don't sell my stuff there anymore either. If I can't sell it here, it goes back in the box for another day.

Sorry to hear that happened with ebay. Yet another story that reminds me why I never sell anything on there any more. I'd rather give stuff away than deal with them any more. I do buy items from time to time, but that's it.

My own personal story:

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=194625

Short story, paypal still screwed me over for the money even though I had tracking, confirmation e-mails from the guy saying he got the buggy, threads on rc-monster saying he got the post, and a signed affidavit he sent to paypal saying he got the buggy. Because his cc was "stolen" I still got screwed in the end.

Lesson learned, never sell anything on ebay, ever!

I WIN! :twisted::twisted:

Now I have to sit back and wait to see if she ruins my feedback, at least I got my $$

Congrats on the win."thumbsup"
Hopefully she is decent enough to leave appropriate feedback.

Yeah, About a month ago I purchased a 1:6 motor of a guy on ebay and its said in the listing that it will ship within 3 days, So after I purchased it on a Tuesday. I messaged him.
Nothing.
I messaged him again on Thursday
Nothing.
I messaged him again on Monday the next week.
Nothing.
So by Thursday of the next week after not hearing from the seller and recieveing no shipping info. I made a paypal dispute.
That friday the seller refunded my money and the disputer closed.
he didnt even respond to the dispute, just sent back my money.
So then he files an ebay disputer saying I never paid for the item.
I dispute back that i paid for the item and was refunded the money.
I then says I cant read about a half a dozen times. and wins the dispute and the bid was cancelled and he left a negative feedback.
I had to literaly call ebay and proove that I paid for the item and was refunded the money even though paypal and ebay are owned together.
the end result was I got my money, they kept thier part and the negative feedback was removed and I was encouraged to leave a negative feedback for the seller as harasement.
apperently the seller has done this a dozen or more times in the past and he is close to be removed from ebay for harasment and unjustified selling practices.

Bottom line is, You did nothing wrong and I am a 100% feedback guy myself which I pride myself on. You shouldnt have to worry that the same will happen to you. If it escalates to a negative feedback, Let me know if you cant find the ebay phone number and I will tell ya how to find it.
