*_* C.I.'s Lil' Nova Closed Cell Competition Ready 1.9 Dual Stage Foams *_*

Sites down and looking to order early next week. Will the site be back up or should I pm you here? Also have some questions to ask before ordering to ensure I'm on the right track. Thanks in advance.

Set your wheel on the foam centered and Trace around the wheel with weights on it and use a hobby knife with long blade cut on the inside of the mark you made so you have a sung fit. I put all my rcs on ci foam blocks or baby diaper plastic box fits scx10 just right and has good storage also no flat spots on tires..

My truck weight is 6.1 lb
I do mostly crawling
I run stock 1.9 Maxxis Trepadors on aluminum beadlocks.
What are your LiL' Nova recommendation?
If I decide to upgrade to 1.9 Rock Beasts in the future would I need to get new foams?
What is the difference between the standard and comp cut inner foam?

4.25" Lil' Nova for treps because they are so heavily lugged and stiff.

CWR-2015 rear

No, those won't work properly in Pitbull Rock Beasts. The Rock Beast is a far superior tire compound and size. @ your weight:

Hey looking for a few recommendations.

First is my class 1 comp rig. 9.5lb tf2, leafed rear, 3 link front. looking to get new tire and foams for this year.currently running 4.25" lil novas w/ soft outer on vented 4.19" bajas. suspect the foams are worn out as they don't seem to fill the tire anymore. was wondering if going to comp cut and med outers (maybe just rear) would handle any better?

The next rig is my 8x8 (http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/multi-axle-rigs/523624-8x8-bullhead-build.html). This truck sees trails but is no comp rig of course. It is running 4.5" 1.9 gladiators with stock foams . weighs about 17 lbs unloaded and about 27-30 lbs loaded. tires not currently vented

weight over front axles is about 10-15lbs depending on whether it is empty or loaded.

weight over rear axles is about 10-18 lbs depending on load.

Box is full of beer in this pic. As you can see it needs some help.

My scx is 9.5lbs and runs Deuces Wild single stage foams in the 4.3" tall ProLine BFG K02s. That foam makes it very stable and predictable when handling all the weight. I do rock crawl the truck and aside from being a long, heavy, yet scale rig with small AT tires, it works surprisingly well.

Same goes for the 8x8, DW foams. I am a huge fan of DW foam so in heavier rigs I tend to recommend it a lot, but I'm sure Novas Ark will chime in with his thoughts also.

I watched the video and I am interested in a set. I'm running an SCX10 Rubicon close to stock weight for U4 racing. I currently have the axial BFG all terrains and axial beadlocks. Which set would you recommend?

Truck is right at 6 pounds RTR, mostly slow crawling with some moderate speed trail running too. But mostly concerned with the rock crawling. Running 4.75 baja claws on 1" wide aluminum 1.9 beadlocks. What foams would you recommend? And should I vent the tires? The stock foams seem like they don't have much "give" so the tire doesn't always bite like it should.

Are the lil nova 4.75"s the size needed for the 1.9 Rockbeast XL ?

It depends on RTR weight and intended usage.

Rc4wd MTZ's 4.19 tall x 1.28 wide

Steel wheels internal headlock 1 inch wide

10.5 pound truck

SORCCA Class 1 competition scale crawling

really need a recommendation on foams

Thanks

Looking for some foam advice. Currently running just under 6 lb scaler. CI 1 in wide wheels with some 1.9 hyraxes stretch over them. Strictly comp rock crawling. Waiting to place an order.

Looking for some help here regarding CI foams

1: Custom Hilux Truggy, AMS, 4 link in the front, 1.9 hyrax tires, around 8-10 pounds

2. (Currently Building) Custom SCX10 Chassis, not sure if going with 3 or 4 links in the front, 1.9 hyrax tires, this should be 5-6 pounds

thanks in advance!!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I have a 7.25 pound SCX10 that I use for medium to slow speed trail running and crawling.

I'm looking at the RC4WD 1.9 Compass tires - 4.75 tall by 1.74 wide in x2 ss rubber. Mounting on 1" beadlocks.

I will likely be upgrading the axles soon which will add another .75 pounds.

Which front/rear do you recommend?
