Toyota does not seem to care about competition. Take a look at the Tacoma. On paper, there are hardly any categories where it is best in class. But, it is the class sales leader, by a long shot.

I doubt the team working on the next gen 4Runner cares what Ford does with the Bronco. They are going to design the Toyota the way they want to design it. As soon as they slap the badges on it, people will line up to buy it.

You have a point there. They have the sheep buying mentality going for them right now and they've had that for a long time.

Paul Wraith interview.

I didn't know the Bronco was designed by a Brit. That feels wrong. :ror:

That's freaking hilarious. I get it, but at the same time that's some big ass insecurity! :lmao:

That is awesome! I'd like to see them do the red, white and blue "Baja Bronco" paint scheme.

It looks great, just curious to see what the first gen issues might be but I'm definitely on board.

Ford is working on its launch. It is trying to iron out an issue before its release. What i believe to be an issue is the lack of made units. We have thousands of reservations.
It will be cut in half once the build process starts and they ask for $1500 deposit in order to continue the order.

Saleen is big oly livery, no?
I knew one of those big name ford tuners would crank one out with a 5.0 under the hood.

Most car guys love V8's. Sadly, the emissions branches of governments do not. So thankfully there are companies that will give us what we crave. All you need is lots of money!

I'm really impressed with the looks and features of it. IFS isn't as good for rock crawling but only a small percentage of 4x4s see that anyway. Most dont leave the pavement. I can't bring myself to buy a Ford, so I'm just hoping Jeep ups their game with some improvements to the JL. The 6.4L concept they've been showing looks pretty darn cool but its probably going to be stupid expensive. IMO the 5.7 would have been a better choice. It would have made it quite a bit more affordable and has plenty of power.

Hopefully Traxxas or Axial make one of these Bronco bodies. Proline would just screw it up.

I'm deffo a Ford man, and this Bronco is some of the best news for a long time.

Since the manual gearbox only comes with the 2.3 Ecoboost, my order would be a Base with Sasquatch package.
Hopefully the 4 door will be available at some point with the Base trim level.

The Saleen above looks BAD A$$!!!!

Around my neck of woods I think we can at least expect double the price you guys have to pay for them in any trim levels.
2018 Raptor, 150k thank you! :shock::shock:

Wow that is a crazy mark up, on the Raptor. I am probably going to order a 4 door Wildtrack just waiting to see what the accessories catalog will look like. It will be a plus that they are covered with our warranty.

Sorry to hear you don't like Ford. I assure you the Bronco will go toe to toe to its jeep counter part. I believe this will benefit the consumer mostly. it will force JL to invest more RD on the jeep platform that seems to be a little dated.
I do hope the make the new bronco body well.

My Dad is a die hard Ford guy. I used to be hardcore GM, but a crappy truck and terrible dealership made me go buy a Ram. Been on the Mopar wagon ever since. Currently own 4 ('98 XJ, '05 LJR, '14 2500, '16 Grand Caravan).

The JL platform is only 3 years old. I wouldnt call that dated. I think having no real competition simply allowed them to get complacent and not really put much effort into certain areas when they were designing it. Ford has had a lot time to do research and from what I have read, they took a lot of notes from Jeep owners, seeing what they do and do not like and they addressed a lot of it. They also added some really cool tech. Hopefully Jeep matches it...I really like the Ford 360 view and their GPS setup.

I've got the itch to buy right now but I'm going to hold off a few months and see what Jeep does for 2021 models and how the EcoDiesel is holding up.

Okay so if we can hold out another 2-4 years we can get a 5.0 V8 in the pickup.
