Been hunting for a set of gear head myself for awhile.but guess you can add basher Rocksta to the list

The more we contact gearhead the better the posibility they will remake them. The guy said they where just talking about it. And he said he felt the 1/24 was coming back. But he had no clue about the Axial or the RC4WD kit.

So the more we call them and ask, the sooner we might get some. Im looking for a set too! Maybe we can put together a group buy...

PS: Thanks about the reminder on the basher. I forgot about that one.

RC2WD tires are actually a little on the large side they aren't right at 1.0" centers...they are a little big even on their own wheels. Also if you get the Stamped Steel wheels the bead lock screws are too short to fit bead lock tires of any sort, so you have to get new screws.

Thanks for putting this together!

Switchblades, I ran into the same problem with my Stamped Steel wheels from RC4WD. I managed to get one of them put together but had to sacrifice the foam, the other three I lost so many of those awful little screws trying to put them together I really don't think its possible anymore.

Any recommendations on where / what kind of screws would work? I've got the Traxxas spare hardware kit for the TRX-4 but I don't think there are any screws in that kit small enough to fit those wheels..

I believe the micro wheels are using M1.6 bolts. You can always email support@rc4wd.com and ask them what size they are and how much. I find buying from support is sometimes cheaper than buying from the store because they quote with shipping included. Or get the specs and amazon some new longer bolts perhaps?

I personally have not had any issues putting tires on my micro wheels. It takes a few times to get a technique down I guess. I don't know about bolts being too short? But mine are ok. THen again I mostly purchase RC4WD tires since they seem to own the micro tire market anyhow.

I have three sets of RC4WD micro tires and all three fit my chrome steel beadlock off my RC4WD Mini just fine. I even swap the foams from one tire to another since I have three sets all different heights and widths. I have not tried those wheels with the new tall and skinny axial tires the SCx24 comes with though. So perhaps that's when I might.

But whatever works for you guys, works for me. "thumbsup"

Awesome job, thanks for the list, love the old style stamped steel white wagon wheels, put my email on the in stock reminder list for them! "thumbsup"

Thank you Nate. "thumbsup"

I WISH they made a WAGON version on the micro 1.0 side. I noticed they have wagon versions on 1.55 and 1.9 but just standards on the micro. In fact Im going to email them and ask them if they have them to order from whomever there OEM is.

UPDATE: 6/11/2019

I spoke to someone at RPP/Gearhead again today and asked about them making the wheels again since I cant get any RC4WD beadlocks. I pointed him to this thread and told him he has a few potential buyers. He said he would bring this up to the management again and show him this link. He also told me that RPP/Gearhead management runs the RPP account here. That said, we can ping them directly via this link. So if you want some nice looking NON beadlock (tires fit the tire grooves well under pressure alone) please ping them directly here. I am onboard for a set if anyone else is.

RC4WD sells 1.6x6MM screws (vs. the 1.6x4MM) that comes with the wheels, reached out to their customer support today. I'm going to see if I have anything in my TRX-4 screw kit that I can fit in there but if not I'll be ordering some of those.

Any major tire manufacturers we should know about besides RC4WD?

You could always just amazon a mix pack of M1.6 bolts off amazon?

Micro tire market appears to be dominated by RC4WD. That or the tires that come with whatever brand micro you have seem to be the extent of our tire offerings. RC4WD does have some really good tires though.

I think those are normal. Wagon versions are DEEP offset like monster truck. My trx4 has 1.9 wagons.

Ahhhh. Could you flip the wheels and mount the hub on the other side...?

Thank you for making these wheels happen again! Been out of the micro scene for a bit but looks like I came around just in time.

I just called and inquired about obtaining a set. I feel the real person to thank would be Zac at RPP. I bugged him a couple time and he is the one who spoke to his management on our behalf. But I did let him know how thankful we were via email.

But thank you nonetheless sir. "thumbsup"
