I am happy to announce that Nationals will be returning to the East Coast in 2018. Stay tuned for details.

Looking at The first or second week in August. I am going to go and scout a spot in NY tomorrow.

Also we will be supporting a charity as part of the event. It is always nice to give back to a worthwhile cause. For the NENC we have been able to raise several thousand dollars since that event started. For Nationals look for a 50/50, a charity raffle and a bonus gate challenge to help raise funds for our charity. Stay tuned for details on the specific charity.

Sponsors are already coming on board for the 2018 Nationals. We are still scouting new spots to hold the event. With Winter upon us some possible location will not be available to scout until the spring. Jamestown RI will be the back up spot where Worlds was held in 2014.

 Patiently waiting............"thumbsup"

Jamestown, RI sounds very ideal.

Theres so many other (just as) great locations in New England, I think these guys are trying to mix it up a bit and not over use a location.

Problem here right now is getting scouts out to locations with the cold weather and snow we been getting. But no matter where it is you know its gonna be Great Time!

Jamestown is a blast with a lot to offer, like Bob said we have had the opportunity to use that venue quite a bit in the past several years. It is an awesome spot, however new areas would be great. If anyone has a spot that would fit the bill for Nationals with location, parking and hotels close by I would be up for considering it. This weather has been brutal in the Northeast and some places that were being considered are not available to be scouted until April.

Mark you calendars for early August for the 2018 US National Championship!

See you on the ROCKS, John

Just an idea, I'm not sure of any restrictions as of yet but I looked at some photos from Purgatory Chasm in Sutton, MA and I may see if I can go for a run there soon.

The pictures look awesome, but firsthand viewing would be good. Please keep me posted. Thanks, John

Purgatory will not let us in, LOL been down that road. We actually lost that spot for local events years ago.

Plus its not really Nationals level terrain.

Sorry for all the hold up. Weather here held up scouting of spots for Nationals. We are back on track and will be announcing the location of the WRCCA US Nationals shortly. The dates have not changed it will be August 10-12th. Be ready for epic views and gnarly rock East Coast Style.

See you on the Rocks,
John (JSLICK)
