2016 RC4WD Scale Challenge Series - Disney, OK (June 4th-5th)

If there is anyone in here that's a SORRCA expert I could use some help scoring my C1 truck. I've got scale junk plastered all over it and when I use the points calculator I only come up with 28 scale points, and I may be pushing it with the amount of tire sticking past the fender flares. I'd like to get everything squared away before I show up completely clueless, and with a truck that wont pass tech.

I'm not a committee member, or an expert, but I'll give an answer.

A bunch of "scale junk" can only net you 6 points for Realistic Items and 8 points for Functional Items.

This point system is to limit the amount of "scale junk" and put the focus more on the make-up of the rig itself - hardbody, transfer case, leaf springs, CMS, tubework, etc.

Class 1 is more of a builder's class, hence all those extra rules. But, they can be driven and driven hard. I've seen it done.

So, the point system is designed to award more points to items that make the rig more realistic and/or items that could potentially hinder performance.

That's more of a philosophical answer than actually helping you score your rig, but maybe it will help. The scoring sheets are pretty self explanatory.

I am looking for a 2016 score ing sheet. The sorca website has the rules but does not have the fill able sheets. Does anyone have one for 2016?

Does anyone care if I do t show up until 3 on Saturday and still run class 2 and King of Disney?

What can I do to help? Feel free to PM me with pictures of your truck.

Thanks, guy's for the help! The score sheet answered most of my questions.
War Pig, I'll bug you through PM with my two main concerns. Thanks again.

If it's anything like last year, driver check in for class 2 will be in the morning and the run will be done in the early afternoon.

I'm not running the event just telling you what went on last year.

He's saying I can't run class 2

And might not be able to run KOD

Let me make this clear...I did not say he cannot run class 2...

I stated that Class 2 Starts around 8am on Saturday...all drivers must be present for the drivers meeting and tech, to run. There is a set time-frame to get all of class 2 done and fit in KoD and the Awards Banquet.

Yes sorry I didn't mean it to sound like you were preventing me I know that there are set times
