2015 Trail Ride Series

Is there a thread or a list of fun places to crawl in Indiana? I live in NW Indiana and just got a scx10 and my buddy got a vaterra but we have no idea where to go other than driving out to the dunes or going to turkey run. Someplace closer would be so nice to know.

Look at the NWI TTC thread in the Indiana section here or NWI on FB. They are located in NW Indiana and put on some very good comps at various locations.

The Trail Ride at FOTO is just one week away. Start time is 10:00 Eastern time. If you run late and get there and we have already left the parking lot follow the side walk to the circular pad and proceed to the lower level. Turn right and follow the edge of the rocks. We will be going that way.

For those of you that can't make the 10:00 start time you can always join us at the lunch break and start the afternoon trails at 1:00.

Had a great time at FOTO today with some old and new friends. Big thanks to everyone that could make it out. Been going to FOTO for 10+ years and this had to be one of the best days for traction, unbelievable.

Old Dog, we finally got a house in Brownsburg but our stuff is still in the process of being shipped from Japan. I should be somewhat settled in and starting my new job on the 29th so hopefully I can make it out for the next GTG.

I will not be able to attend the 7/12 trail ride due to some family commitments. Obviously everyone else is welcome to go to Bender Road and have a great time.

Is bender rd the favorite spot?

It is about the only place that does not have high water, like FOTO, or snakes, like some of the state parks. The people that showed up for the June Trail Ride voted for Bender and I was unable and it appears nobody else went in July so the vote carried over.

I couldn't make it in July because i was at the NENC. Zach and i are going to attempt to make the next one. Providing i can get my scaler done and some lipos orderd.

Hope to see you and Zach there. Did you do well at NENC?

Another great day of playing with toy trucks. Over 5 hours running in the creek bed and we still did not see it all. It just doesn't get any better than today. Big thanks to everyone that could make it out.

We would've like to have made it but couldnt justify the drive down there. Good thing we didn't, we went to a local spot and about 15 mins in my servo stripped its gears, then I lost a gear in my transmission. Would've sucked to drive 2.5 hours to just break.
