2015 RC4WD Scale Challenge Series - New Castle, PA (August 28th-30th)

Thanks to the whole rc4wd crew for another great event. And the goodie bags at the awards ceremony were awesome. But now I have an axle without a home. Guess it's new build time.

My wraith finally came back to life. It died after my mud pit run, but after several washings, motor rebuild, and thorough drying its back up and running.

John, and John, and crew: Thanks to you we all had the weekend to remember in 2015. It's tons of work and all that effort has produced some wide smiles for a long time to come. We all appreciate your efforts to pull this off for everyone!
"thumbsup"
RC4wd, Tom, Victor, and Ryan: The KOTR was an epic journey that challenged truck and driver, and there were so many positive comments! Thanks to your team for presenting this event as a title sponsor, for amazing prizes, and great work on the course.
"thumbsup"
Judges and course builders: You all are the backbone of the event on which all the other limbs are hung. Without your excellent efforts in building courses and keeping the field level for scoring, we'd be having chaos in the ravine! Ten cheers to the survivors of all the long hours on the rocks skipping breaks and lunch to get us all through the courses smoothly!
"thumbsup"

Big thanks to the GCM Racing Team for all their efforts at this comp! Our team came from far and wide to meet at #ECSC2015 and look after the brand and support. Thanks to Doug for heading up the Night run and getting everyone through!
I now know that this team of people can organize a total vendor tent teardown in 20 minutes flat! hahah!

This is how much water came out of my waterproof box. Lol

2nd year in a row that mud pit got into my electrics box :lmao:

Had a blast! Thanks to John, thanks to stiff competition, but mostly thanks to the judges. That's a hell of a job and we couldn't have all the fun without you guys.

Rigs all cleaned up and hopefully drying out.

Had a Blast at ECSC 2015! Big Thanks to all the sponsors for the prizes, very cool! Thanks to RC4WD, John and his crew, The SBG guys, all the judges and officials and Rose Point for putting up with the GURUS lol
I finally got the grail..... 1st in Class 2..... which by no means was easy with all the skilled drivers who come to compete!!
Glad I brought the Mule lol no more 1/2mile hikes to get a 1.5mm allen wrench or battery lmao.....
It was good to see everyone again and also the new faces!!
Cant wait to see whats in store for next year.

What an amazing experience, and all the more so for my first comp! Huge thanks to John, all of the sponsors, all of the volunteers, and the staff at Rose Point. Events like this can't happen without any of you!

Despite my best efforts, the only damage to my TF2 after tumbling 30' was a cracked slider. Before:

Awesome weekend my friends!
As MudHoncho claimed his C2 Holy Grail, I too got mine!

C3 / TTC has always been my favorite event, and WOW! 2015 Did not disappoint! Chad designed some absolutely BRUTAL courses in C3! And I loved every inch of them!!!!

The TTC was AMAZING! Winning the TTC is an absolute honor!

Then, taking home an SBG Award for my Copper Dragon! To be recognized along builders of the highest caliber is truly humbling!

Thank You to RC4WD, RCKCRWLR, Sponsors, Judges and most of all, my scale brothers and Sisters!

Is it August 2016 yet!!!!!!

Is it August 2016 yet!!!!!!

I was about to post the same thing, lol.
Congrats on the TTC win Joe!

I'm home, finally after a slight detour to Niagara Falls, which was pretty awesome.
I know it's been said many times already but a huge thank you to John and Tom for this absolutely incredible event, I'd even go as far a saying the best event put on all year. Along with all the sponsors that put up prizes for us and the fellow judges, thank you.. A million times over thank you, without y'all this event wouldn't be what it is!
It was awesome seeing friends that I only get to see once a year and meeting new ones, hopefully we'll meet again next year (hint hint John and Tom) hopefully sooner though at another event.

I'm glad you guys like some of my pics. At least I could contribute in some way to this great event. Hopefully next year I will be competing.

Happy you got shots of my busted yeti clawing thru the mud and up the hill in front wheel drive only. Blew out a rear bearing around gate 60ish. Finished with only minimal cheating (kicked it over a log). Lol

Finally winding down from the epic trip to 2015 Ecsc with Charlie and Kevin, besides a couple of electrical gremlins through the weekend all in all I had a great time. Took home another win with my c1 truck and ran it in c2 to finish decent, but next year I'm gonna have a purpose built c2 truck:twisted:. My jeep did awesome again for anothe win in c3 with it as well. Funny part on c1 is after it burnt up I went and installed the rtf electronics out of the tf2 I won the first year to finish the other two courses.....lol. That credit is owed to Kevin cause I wasn't even gonna put it back together. Thanks Kleaumeuemueb........lol. I'm glad some had fun on the c3 courses Joe cause I was gettin a lot of hate mail......lol. I want to take the time to Thank Tom and John for giving me the opportunity to drive for Rc4wd and the chance to setup up some great courses with the help of Kevin and Lewis. I can't wait till next year and I hope some of you guys make the Disney one next year as well. Fourth in ttc was good I will take that for running front wheel drive in the last two events......lol.

For what it is worth Chad I also loved the c3 courses. When I first looked at them I honestly thought they were impossible and wanted to just walk away and go home. I will be the first to admit that I did not finish any of the three courses. I timed out before completing gate 10 on each course. However, I was more than capable of completing the courses. I think c3 should be like that. They are the most heavily modified trucks and the courses should reflect it.
