2014 RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge (August 22-24)

The mail man came. All my parts except the main LEDs. Hopefully they'll get here tomorrow. Otherwise not many lights on my rig.

Man, I was gonna replace my front brake pads when I got back too... they were shuttering on the way to/from the Ohio GURU comp and I haven't drove the car much since... well, I sure hope they hold out another 16 hours of highway driving.

They should hold up for one use. You only need to stop when you arrive. Otherwise just coast :)

TO EVERYONE...

BRING BOOTS!!!

Whether the rain stops or not...there is mud. Don't want to stand in mud.

Waterproof boots would be a must...a poncho could help but surprisingly, in the woods where the courses are, it shields a lot of it.

We got over 2" of rain last night.

Oh and another note...don't jump out of the back of your truck onto sloppy wet mud... Chad30w can tell you what happens. :shock:
