I've got a NWITTC comp this Sunday and then gonna swap out Hera's axles for the DLux bigger bearing versions... I just rebuilt them with new front OD gears because I blew them out at KOG and took it for a test run and already got some clicking!
I'm really hoping to make it through (and to!) the ECSC TTC without blowing a ring and pinion this time.
Although, Sally just pointed out that folks were killing the DLux axles too.
But, I figure fresh axles should make it through at least 1 comp!

Ok...here is the deal...I am in Pittsburgh ( moon township) right now for the Appalachian gas measurement short course at Robert Morris university. Been coming for the last five years. Yes... I am a little under the influence right now ( hanging out at the embassy suites in moon township at the moment... one bad ass hotel!!). anyway, I will be returning home tomorrow afternoon and will be shipping all orders that came in this week for that most bad ass upgrade on the market... Beef Tubes!!! anyway, my beautiful wife and my two year old son will be returning in two weeks for the most bad as scale comp in the nation. I no longer have anything to do with Rc, if you had a two year old son you would understand and I habit step up to the 1:1 world of rick crawling with a buggy that I built myself.
Anyways, I plan on helping john with whatever he needs during the comp. Other than that, I know my boy will be absolutely amazed by the Rc seen so he will be a hand full. My question is, what is there to do for my wife and boy? I do not want the to get bored and I want to help out as much as possible and not chase my boy around the woods all day. Any advise?

You will be giving your family a great weekend. Awesome pool and play ground. There is also a lot of stuff to do off the the site if she wants to get away from all of us loonies...

Got my c1 remade from last year. New wheels and tires. New axial high steer knuckles and a new Holmes sportsman 35t. Should do a bit better than last year.

I have opened up the Event Shirt Sale until the August 12th.
If you want to order any please do so. There will not be extras available at the event.
Anyone that wants one that is not coming to the event, there will be a $5 shipping charge. All non attending event shirts will be shipped after the event. Shipping charge will need to be paid before it goes out.
Send $5 flat rate shipping to teamrc4wd@gmail.com and note Name and order number in the payment so I can match them up.
International customers will need to pay actual shipping charge when it is packed up.
