2014 RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge (August 22-24)

This may be a dumb question, but I'll shoot anyways. The King of the Rose for 1.9s...is a waterproof rig a must for this? Just curious if its going to be deep sloppy mud and water before I buy a ticket.

I haven't been in communication with John about the KOTR, but the only place with the mud is the place you were playing last year with your FOFF.

This year its REALLY sloppy due to the amount of rain we have had. I don't think we will be playing in it like we did last year.

This doesn't rule out any normal water from the creek, but with that said we have been trying to keep the water to "realistic" levels--notwithstanding the TTC.

The KOTR is about having fun. There will be no "intentional" deep mud and water... Its more of a driver against time and staying alert.

Have the rigs ready for normal scale obstacles...

If it does get sloppy, those that ran at KOG had plenty of practice.

Are you trying to say we like mud?

OK so I was told that the KOTR rules are based on wheel size, not tire size. This possess a problem for me. I entered 1.9 class since I'm running 1.9's stretched over 2.2 wheels. Does this put me in 2.2 or can it be based on tire size?

It is based on Wheel size.

Besides JJ's comment...any reference to 1.9 or 2.2 has always been regarded as Wheel size.

Send me an email and I will change yours to 2.2. I will need your full name.

Farmer...looking forward to seeing you. It's been a long time...I think Vegas at Nats several years ago.

That wasn't mud...that was some type of nuclear waste.
