OK this will be my first event. I'm running c2 and need some info. I'm wondering what the pace will be. Like how long do I need my battery to last and are trail repairs aloud. Just any info you think may be helpful for a noon. Thanks

This is the start to the rig I plan to run. Feel free to give advice. But just know its still a work in progress.

I used the same battery for 2 courses last year, there were 4 total for class 2, I was using 2200 3cell lipo battery. I probably could have used the same battery for all 4 as the courses were timed at 8 minutes. Trail repairs were allowed, had to take one myself due to a broken drive shaft, you just get penalty points toward your score.

My rule of thumb is 1000 MAH per course.

the pace is for the most part you own. there is no set line-up. just go to a course, get in line, run your comp then go to the next course when you are ready and repeat.

here are the full repair rules:

On-Course Repairs: (+10pts) Must be completed on course and in the spot of which the driver decided to take the repair. Repairs must be made within the course time, while the course timer will continue to run. If repairs are made within the course time, the driver must return to the last previous gate cleared. If repairs cannot be made within the course time, the driver is given a DNF minus progress points for that course. There are no restrictions on whom or how the repairs are made.

Off-Course Repairs: (+10pts) A driver can call time to make an off-course repair. Repairs should be completed within 30 minutes, or the driver is given a DNF minus progress points. If the repair is made in the allotted time, the driver must return to the last previous gate cleared. A 1 minute time penalty will be subtracted from the time that is left on that course, the timer will continue once the vehicle makes forward progress.

I would suggest reading all the scale rules before the comp.
