2014 RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge (August 22-24)

Registration info

Sitting here in the middle of one of the biggest Snow Storms this year and thinking of warm weather.

Thinking of summer...made me think of August...specifically August 22nd.

So with that...

Registration will open March 3rd at 9am EST

Linky: https://ecsc2014.eventbrite.com

A couple things to keep in mind:

  • Only one person per registration (Don't register different people under the same transaction. You can order food tickets and shirts for family, but make sure you enter their names)
  • Make sure you register for everything at one time and fill all info in. Having multiple registrations for the same person presented an administration nightmare last year.
  • Order Shirts at time of registration (will not have extras this year).
  • Order Food Tickets at time of registration (No Ticket, No Food).
  • YOU MUST SUPPLY AN EVENTBRITE ORDER # TO MAKE CAMPGROUND RESERVATIONS
  • Be considerate when contacting Rose Point (724)924-2415 in regards to Onsite Reservations...don't take more than you need when it comes to sleeping arrangements.
  • There will be Travel Trailers for rent (Bathroom, Kitchen, Sleeps 2 or 4, Air Conditioning)

Make sure you post up when you get your tickets...and add "IS IT AUGUST YET?" to your signature.

Can't wait to see everyone.

Rose Point will only take reservations that you supply the EventBrite Order Number with.

So as soon as you get your confirmation, you can call Debbie. "thumbsup"

Getting questions on the RC4WD Fun Run...

I have not set this up yet but if anyone was there last year, it is well worth the $20.

I believe we gave away over $1000 in prizes. Not too bad of a Return on Investment....

This year will not disappoint you either. Just need to work out the logistics.

I'm so looking forward to this event! Can't wait to meet everyone. I'm bringing the whole family.

You mention that you are bringing the whole family...my wife is still up the air as whether or not she wants to go because she is afraid herself and our two year old son will get bored. Any advice on stuff for the family to do while the comp is going on???

This is usually the first weekend of our family vacation. So I had to convince my girlfriend and her daughter that it will be fun. I think we're going to Hersey park when the event is done. At the event I'm not sure what they'll do.

Research some fun places of interest they may like to visit without you...

I'm single so I really can't say for sure what you could do...gotta find something for em though...there's gotta be places close by...heck they could go hiking...canoeing or anything like that.

I have a todder who won't be comming along this year...future events though likely.

The campground has a pool and a nice play area for the kids I leveraged that to get my wife interested and talk her dad into letting us borrow the camper for the weekend

But I'll probably do it again :)

It's amazing that I can back my 35ft trailer behind my crew cab truck into a spot not much more than my width...but to get that stinking trailer to go where I wanted...
