There are a few of us that have made the long hike to compete with you guys. So I wonder if there is any of you that would like to come down and play toy cars with us.

March 16 2014 is the date for this years event.

We run 2.2's, 2.2 Pro, Scale 1 and Scale 2

Here is the official post from our local forum.

Crawl ANZ - View topic - 2014 Nationals
Greetings Drivers,

In an effort to shorten the reign of the current 2.2 PRO Champ, The crAwLL BLACK, the cANZ committee have unanimously agreed to a date change for the 2014 Nationals.

For 2014 the Nats will be held on 16 March 2014.

We thought it best to post up the change now so that it would give everyone more time to plan.

In all seriousness, the change of date is for a number of reasons:
1. Better weather (Not the middle of winter)
2. More daylight hours (Daylight savings still)

With the weather playing a part for the last 2 years, and running in the dark this year it was decided a change had to be made.

It was also decided that we would post up the area of the comp to assist with planning for all competitors.

The 2014 Nats will be held near Newcastle at one of the fantastic locations on offer up that way.
Although the exact location has not been finalized yet, it will definitely be held around the Anna Bay, Fishermans Bay, Boat Harbour area.
Google Maps

There is plenty of accommodation around these areas to suit all budgets, and it is only 2hrs away from Sydney.

And as in the past, please make your plans for a 2 day event

First cab off the rank.

Krawler Koncepts has very generously offered their services to provide us with driver stickers for this years Nationals. If you are ever in need of skins for your radio or crawler. Hit up Michelle and Rob at Krawler koncepts.

Thanks guys, your support is always appreciated.

For a few years now RC4WD have been a strong supporter of our National Event and this year is no different. I would like to extend a massive thank you to them for coming on board as our first platinum sponsor and with that they have secured the naming rights for Scale Class 2.

For some of the sickest scale parts in the hobby check out RC4WD and hit up one of the local vendors to grab some sweet scale swag.

You still getting with the missus?

It's not too late to come....

Camo's been stocking the prize cupboard with some fantastic sponsors coming onboard.

This is looking to be the biggest comp held in Australia!

...and at a fantastic location ;-)

Last year was the first year of Ottsix tyres supporting our event.
This year they have followed it up with more support going bigger and better this time around.

Ottsix entered the crawling world producing tyres a couple of years ago. They now produce the go to 2.2 comp tyre in the class leading VEX compound amongst other products for crawling enthusiasts.

With wins around the world you will not find a better tyre for your Pro or sportsman rig.
Many a rig will be running these tyres at this years event so check them out and hit up Ottsix for some sticky grippy love.

Ottsix are sponsoring the 2.2 PRO class this year.

Special note they are also soon to start production of their first scale tyre, this is sure to be a hot topic so keep an eye out for that release.

As last years title sponsor it is no surprise to see the return of Hulksta Engineering to the sponsorship ranks. This year Dan has taken on the Sportsman class. Dan has been producing Crawler parts for a few years now. From developing the first Titanium axles for the XR10 right though to Carbon Fibre wheels. Not to mention designing and producing the first commercially available sportsman chassis with a built in Transmission. Please join us in thanking Hulksta Engineering for sponsoring the event.
You can see all of his gear via the embed links.

Last Sponsor on the list to secure naming rights is The Scaleaddict will be presenting the Scale Class 1 courses. Brian has been running his online store for a couple of years now and has some of the most killer scale products on the market along with some very impressive builds. If any one is looking for some cool scale gear check him out.

Lockeduprc has been producing scale parts for a few years now and this year has thrown some weight behind the 2014 Nationals. Please join me in welcoming them as our next Platinum sponsor. You will not find a more true scale part than those provided by LURC. Check them out online and hit up Patrick for your fix of Lockeduprc Goodness.

Also make sure to say hi to the first Australian LURC team driver at the event if you have any questions about their gear. Sorry BC
