Just giving everyone a heads up of whats been done so far.

1.9, 2.2, and Super will have the same spec for body or bodiless. (Each class will have its own unique specs)

Class specs will be the smallest current spec in its respective class.

2.2s is now called 2.2 Shafty to avoid confusion the letter s caused some.

2.2 Shafty will keep its current Body Requirements and Specs

Body Definition is being written.

If you have a question send me a PM, and I will answer the best I can until the Final wording is released.

Gate Straddles will no longer be a penalty in 2013!

Drivers will still have to drive between the gates without touching them to avoid a penalty.

Course Designers always have the option of using taller gate when they deem necessary.

Other than the change in the Straddle rule there is nothing pending in 2013 that will change your comp day experience.

As far as bulids go nothing will be made illegal. If you could run it in 2012 you can run it in 2013.

If you like running bodies you will have more options available to you.

As far as getting the Rules out...we are working on it......just trying to make sure we don't create more problems than we are trying to solve with typos, miswordings and omissions:shock:

Based on the PMs I think some of you are over thinking it.

Everything stays the same....you just don't call a Straddle.

The only time you will ever see a difference is if someone drives an axle over the gate ......doesn't touch it.....then backs up or flips over without touching it. Then drives it clean. (Except for the reverses)

It you drive over a gate WITHOUT touching it AND you only get 1x tire from the Front and 1x tire Rear on the same side of the vehicle.....its still a penalty....for not getting 4x tires between the gates.
