I didn't get a lot of pictures, or video but I did get a few. If it were warmer, I might have done more. But my fingers were under protest.

Wow! 3rd with a borrowed truck and only running 2 courses! Maybe I need to get into this scale thing! :ror:

Scale results for today and for the three comp series.

When did this become a series,I thought it was not suppose to start till Feb?
It was always posted as a GTG just for fun. A series made up of only 3 events strung out over 2 years?Thats kind of a stretch.:???:

I thought this was just for fun and the Indiana Scale Series Mark is starting is the only real series.
So now we have both the 2013 SIRCC Trail Ride Series and a 2013 Indiana Scale series. Whats the difference between these two series?
Not bitching, just confused.
I have two sepporate scale rigs, one for comps and one for GTG's that are just for fun, no points carried on from event to event. Would like to know a head of time which one to bring to which series event.

We need some concrete rules for these events and to know if there just for fun or if points will continue to add up from event to event with an overall winner at the end of the year/series.We need to know this a head of time.

I would of been there yesterday if I knew this GTG was part of a comp type series. On here and in person I was told this was only for fun and not a comp type scale event.
Like I said I'm not bitching or complaining just really confused.

I can't speak for Kevin or SIRCC about the trail series. I think that is supposed to be gtg's just for fun and the scale events that happen at SIRCC comp events are their events. They are completely separate from the Indiana Scale Series that I am developing. I will have more information on my series posted hopefully by the end of the week probably much to your liking Bill.

I wish I could have made it down and participated in this event, it looks like a lot of fun!!

Sorry for a thread hijack.

The trail ride "series" is just a series of gtg's for fun, nothing more. We are trying to run some scale comps at our sircc comps to add some fun and variety to our comps. We welcome anyone with a scale type crawler with no bigger than 2.2 tires to come and join the fun! Old dog has some fun course designs and it's a very enjoyable event. We just keep score to determine a winner for the day and no one wins any type of prize at the end of the year. The more the better so come and enjoy! We are not trying to displace anyone else or their event and our scale comp results are not tied to anything, again all for fun.

Bill, sorry for any confusion that I may have caused. Like Leadfoot said, the Trail Ride Series is just for GTG's and have a good time. Handicrawler is actually running a competitive series starting in a few months. These last three competitive events were included with the 2.2 Pro events so drivers could get as much driving time as possible when they come to an event. Makes the 2-3 hour driver worth it when you can run 5- 6 courses with two different trucks.
The mini series idea was a last minute thought to give away some prizes that Crazy Crawler had donated. Once again, my apology for not posting up the mini series idea.
