So, I talked in person to a few hotels today and here is the skinny.
The Laquinta guy was a douche, and basically couldn't give me a certified rate. Its usually the cheapest place, but according to him everything is "corporate" now so I couldn't lock down anything. Kind of suspicious to me, but that's what I got.
The Holiday Inn express that is across the street gave us a huge discount, and was very easy to deal with. All you have to do is call and ask for the Hobbytown rate. Its 75.99 a night in a very nice and new hotel with a pool, breakfast etc...
Its also outside city limits so the taxes are about half of the Laquinta and other places, so it should be pretty much the same when you take that into account.

I've seen a lot of guys asking about hotels.. what about bars and food? Omaha is FULL of restaraunts like you wouldn't beleive."thumbsup" I plan on drinking more than eating though...
