2007 Axial West Coast Championships

Now here's a class act, the champ offering spares parts to a competitor to see if he can help him finish the stage. Very 8) 8) 8) 8) in my book."thumbsup"

That is cool. "thumbsup" I heard there were many acts of sportsmanship throughout the event. Although my history with rc rock crawling has only been short lived, I have noticed from the events I have been able to attend and from the many public venues we have exhibited, this hobby is made up of great hearted and just down to the earth good people.

Another act of sportsmanship over the weekend that I think should be noted, was by member rockpiledriver. One of the local competitors had their super class rig stolen late Saturday at the event. This guy qualified high and made it into the finals on Sunday. When rockpiledriver heard this, he offered one of his supers to him to run on Sunday. Rockpiledriver spent some time Saturday night to get the super, comp ready. On Sunday with no practice on the super rig, the local finished I believe in the top 10 ten.

It is great to be involved with these events and the many people who participate.

Link works now, thanks for taking all those awesome pics Rockhugger.

"thumbsup"

I agree
It's just like going wheelin with your buddies, we all want to have fun, mechanical problems shouldn't put us out completely.

RCP, I didn't realize Brian offered his super for that guy to have a rig to drive sunday. Hat's off to Brian"thumbsup" "thumbsup" I'm glad to be part of a group that has this kind of sportsmanship in it 8)

Thanks Tanis.

Ryan is a great guy and a great driver. It was my pleasure to at least give him a chance on Sunday. Especially since I eliminated myself. 3mm rod ends and 6/32 links don't work real well together.
