made a snorkel for my Pajero with an extra axial light bucket, and an extra piece of plastic rod i had. the piece i used was from the back of a JK cage that i cut off, but you could also use a large plastic piece off of one of the part trees. cut the top of the post at an angle and simply screw the light bucket on top"thumbsup"

Next, I built some roof rails for the pajero, i used the plastic body post holders that come in all the axial kits, that no one ends up using. drilled out the opening. you can see the pieces i used on the right in this pic.

after that i just cut some 1/4" aluminum rod to size and slid it into the modified mounts. turned out like this:

Thanks man! I think everyone has some stock plastics laying around so I try to find some use for em

GREAT IDEA with the roof rails! Lightweight, functional, and I would bet they are pretty durable! Take that Yakima  Keep up the good work "thumbsup"

Thanks codycrawler, I have some more cheap/ free mods I will post up later

Haha I have bilateral carpal tunnel. I just had surgery on my right hand a couple weeks ago. So the right hand doesn't function as well as id like it to and my left hand is pretty much permanently numb. I'll try to scrounge up some old pix of different things I've done.
