Team Berberg's 2.2S Krazed un-Stuck 3G

Not sure if this is the right place, but I will try since its on Capra portals :D
I originally built a Sparetime Hobbies V1S, that I struggled with finding correct setup on.
So I decided to scrap the Sparetime chassis, and build a new shafty based on the newly released Krazed Builds un-Stuck 3G chassis.

Specs will be close to last one;
- Parma Xciter body
- Dlux Hamberger SAF trans
- Holmes Magnum 11tXX
- Holmes BR Mini
- Sanwa RX-482
- Holmes Hobbies SHV500V3 direct powered servo
- Axial Capra axles
- Team Garage Hack Wild Overdrive front portal gears
- 2.2", 1" wide Crawler Keller carbon wheels
- Narrowed Voodoo Pins, silver front, blue rear
- Narrowed 5.5" CI dual stage foams, comp cut soft front, standard medium rear with tuning ring
- Servo, battery and electronics mount for axle designed and printed by me
- Short Dravtech shocks (15wt front, soft springs - 20wt rear, medium springs)
- 3mm Titanium homemade upper links
- 4mm Titanium homemade lower links
- Traxxas T-Maxx and E-revo driveshafts

Mock-up:

Don't wanting to run a BEC, and since Supershafty had 2 for $200 deal I opted to run a SHV500V3 on both my Sherpa class 2 and this Sportsman :D A little noisy, but damn its fast and strong

The servo and electronics mount is loosely modelled after Yoyoyotapilot's mount, but printed by myself. The first preliminary model in PLA broke pretty fast, but that was to be expected :D
New one printed in PETG will come

Mock up with wheels
I have threaded rods on the lower front links for now, adjusting the caster and driveshaft angle before I make the final titanium links there.

Looking forward to testing this on the rocks! I originally had a Puller 400 in my V1S, but it found its way to my Pscale Sherpa instead, got tired of the revolver noise :ror:

The Parma body. I bent the lower portion of the doors a bit in, so that is just a bit over the 3" minimum height

Need to figure out some smart and lightweight body mounts. Might also lower the chassis a bit, right above 70mm clearance at the lowest point now.

Pretty good steering, but it could use some more caster... Either buy a Supershafty housing or do a cut and realignment on the c hubs of the standard housing :D

Did some link tuning on the chassis.
First video shows upper front links in the middle hole of chassis. Pay attention to how the front right wheels lift when climbing

https://photos.app.goo.gl/2yp1YusDz76aa3A66

Second video shows upper front links in upper hole of chassis.
Front wheels are more planted on the climb
I think this is a good example of adjusting the dive of the chassis.

Have only managed one comp with this rig this summer, it is so sad
It worked really good, but I destroyed some links that where only glued (swapped to threaded now) and the servo mount broke because of this...

New body and a different combo of wheels & tires at the moment.
Trying out Ibex with Crawler Innovations 6 bolt wheels and CI Double Deuce 5.5 narrow comp cut medium foams front and rear.

Class 3 had to borrow the servo for a while since I didn't comp this all summer, but a new SHV800 is on the way for this one.
