With not liking the 2.2 tires mounted on the stock CEN 2.6 wheels on the F450, I am now on the hunt to see what’s available for 2.2 Dually Beadlock Wheels.

So far, my search has come up with not much available.

Anyone got a line on where to get some?

Thank you "thumbsup"

2.2" sized might be found at Shapeways or Etsy - otherwise you could run the JConcepts 2.6" tires on their Dually wheels, or try running tall 1.9" tires on the Pro-line Carbine wheels (like their 1.9" XL tires Super Swampers, that are 4.75" tall).

Searched Dually at RPP Hobbies:

Thanks durok. I did find some on Shapeways. I sent the seller a message, as it comes to $418 for the set of 6, which seems high. I know and understand the whole paying for someone’s time, but it still sounds high to me.

With the ProLine Carbine, you completely loose the look of a dually wheel and I have not found a 1.9 tire in the diameter and tread pattern that I want.

I did look at the JConcepts stuff as well and it looks like it’s all 6-Lug. Just can’t bring myself to do that on the F450.

I know it sounds very picky and it may be, but I’m willing to wait to find what I’m really looking for and can just run the standard 2.2 aluminum beadlocks as singles for now.

Trust me, I really do appreciate any help looking at options.

I know you said 2.2 beadlock but if you’d be willing to go a little bit bigger then I’m sure these would work. When I was looking at wheels for my single cab I almost bought a pair of these, but there too rugged of a look for what I’m going for. I think they’d work on yours pretty well! Only downfall is they’re glue on.

Yeah, I already bought 6 of the 2.2 tires I wanted because others online had said the 2.2’s work on the stock 2.6” wheels, but the skinny 2.2 tires I already bought, get a goofy looking bulge at the bead area when mounted on the stock 2.6 wheels.

Oh well.. live, learn and move on.

I like the looks of the wheels, other than being 6-Lug and non beadlock.

Well, I have decided to run the cheap 2.2 single wheels for a bit, while I figure out if I want to drop $300+ into wheels.

I found a set of tall Pitbull Rock Beast II’s that that I think will fit the bill for a bit, while I figure out what I want to do.

I’ll update my F450 thread in the 1.9 section, which might be odd when I’m running 2.2 tires… :lmao:

Reef has a dually set up I think too.

Thank you, I took a look and didn’t see anything.

If you can make 1.9s work instead of 2.2, look at these. I think I will order a set for something I have going.

Motoworx are sick, but weigh like 10 lbs if I recall correctly, and $$$$$$$$$.

For a 1.9, those look promising, but I’ll likely figure out something in a 2.2.
Thank you and th more options the better "thumbsup"
