The RC4WD Rok Lox 40 Series 3.8" Comp Tires i was originally thinking of using are way way to huge and not really to scale even on larger 1/8 scale build. They scale to like a 56" tire.
I may end up just going with limited tire & wheel choices of the 7.5" variety like Axial's Falken Wildpeak M/T or BFG and throwing them on Thunder Tiger or Rival wheels. This is as "Scale" looking as i could get mine on my Yeti XL[/FONT].

In order to run a 2.2 Wheel and if you were able to hog out a 2.2 wheel, SLW Adapter and a 12mm Hex there still is the issue of how to put a nut onto a smooth outdrive shaft. The 17mm hex nut is too big and would look stupid against a scale wheel so i sat back and thought about it a little more. The smooth outdrive shaft is hollow and has a 5mm set screw that hold the hex pin to the 17mm hex adapter.
