Yep, you got me. Funrise has had their hands full building the vehicles for the orders at Wal-Mart (and online at Target.com for 1:1) that the development of "factory" mods is on hold. We have spent a lot of admin time figuring out why the TONS of 1:6 Scorpions have not made it on the shelves, though they are sitting in the W-M warehouses. That is now fixed and they are on the way. You can order a 1:6 Scorpion NOW with the number below at your local W-M.
We are still working on mods...
Also, the new 1:1 Scorpion is now being prototyped for civilian purchase. We should have them available mid-year. Been real busy around here! As soon as we have any mod info, it will go on ScorpionCars.com / MyScorpion.com.
I live in Benton Ky and we have both but my question is is one better thant he other?? I have the jeep in Lay-away right now but they have the Scorpion there to"Talking 1:6 scale which is better or are they the sameslashsplat said:Wal-Mart is the largest and most successful Retailer on Earth! Let them know what you want, they DO take note, as this is a big promo item for the company. Get your friends to ask also. The more times he hears the chant for "SCORPION, SCORPION" the better!!
Your Manager will be in Dallas in a month or so and see the Scorpion exhibit at their Nationwide convention.
Be patient...

Do you have any pictures of the limited edition?slashsplat said:The Scorpion is BY FAR the best. Of course, they are mechanically identical  The Scorpion does have less overhang and better approach and departure angles.
The people who conceived of these Funrise models in the first place (ScorpionCars.com) contributed significantly to the suspension design and would love to see the Scorpion way outsell the Jeep.
AND, there are a bunch of RED Limited Edition Scorpions at W-M warehouses that you could get if you are lucky.
