Maybe I’ll run some 4.19s on it?🤔

And that’s what happened here as well. [emoji35]

I guess the OG SCX10 body post are GTG.

I was trying to use the 10.2 post.

Live and learn.

Think Im going to order a set of OG SCX10 shock towers and post to correct this issue, or just fab up something with what I have here in the shop.

I used dime sized patches of Velcro before. Or maybe a flat piece across both shock towers and use a 3” strip of Velcro. Similar to the Wraith hood mod.

I couldn’t stand it!🤣

Had to see what the 4.19 inch Nottsix ChooDoos looked like on Lo-Do.

I think I like the smaller tires with this body?

But it’s not gonna happen.:ror:

Thanks for showing those, I've got a project coming up and those exact same wheels and tires coming not soon from overseas lol

If ya ordered them from where I did, they don't take THAT long, mine came in exactly 2 weeks... "thumbsup"

It’s here! 🤩

Super fast RPP shipping as usual.👍🏼

And this is what I’ve been waiting for.

3 main pieces to the bed and the included hardware.

Plus two of these, took me a minute to figure out where they went.

But being a genius (and devastatingly handsome, according to my wife) I figured it out.🥴😛🤣

Some measurements.

Some mock up pics.

I’m going to have to do a little modding to get it to clear the shock towers and the transmission on the Injora chassis.

Shouldn’t be too difficult.

More to come...

Oh, I like that! It fits the body nice. I think I like it better than the Honcho and the Proline cage.

I’m gonna have to pick one of these up!

That looks good dez! Tire fits nicely down inside the cage too.

I agree b-mow, it looks better than either of the other cages.

Ive been wantin to get the chevy c10 2 piece body for my father in law n cut the bed for the cage to fit inside it

That's awesome !!!!
Looks right to me.

That's going to look good all mounted up.

Yea, overall I’m very pleased with the Cross cage!

Thanks to everyone that encouraged me to get it. Very easy to put together and even after trimming a portion of the cage, it still remains rigid!

So I had to space the shock tower out a bit to allow the cage to fit between them.

No biggy, I dug into hardware stash and come up with a (2) 3x25 stainless button head bolts, (4) 3x16 stainless button head bolts, and (6) 5x5 Nylon spacers.

The 3x16 and two of the spacers where used to space the towers out.

The 3x25 and the other spacer where used to space the shock out. The longer 25mm bolt was required as it retains both the shock and the rear portion of the lower link.

Now that the cage fits between the towers, the lower front portion of the cage was hitting the transmission on the Injora chassis.

A couple quick zips with the Dremel and the offending sections where eliminated.

Now that these sections where removed, the cage slipped right into place.

I’m going to relocate the spare tire and the fuel cell as pictured.

I think it looks awesome!

I might shorten the wheelbase a bit and lop off an inch or inch and a half of the rear portion of the frame as well? Thoughts?

That’s how it sets at the moment.

I like it. Would probably look better with the lil shorter WB n the chassis even with the cage

If I could move the body/cage back a bit and shorten the wheelbase a tad, I thing it be right in the sweet spot.

But I’m not sure how much, if at all I can move it back do to cage and transmission alignment?

I’ll play with it and see what I can come up with. 👍🏼
