Well, Ive been collecting parts and building here and there on this rig for almost a year now. I now have most everything and just need to find some time and motivation to get it together and running. The goal is to end up with one BEAST of a 2.2 that will do a little of everything and keep coming back for more.

A little history......

I got the chassis from a local club member who ran it for a while but it was originally built by herman712. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/2-2-scale-rigs/298760-*hermans-ttc-style-trail-ranger-truck*.html It had a few miles on it when I got my hands on it, but its still solid as a rock and just needs a lil makeover.

The chassis as I got it.

Freshly built AXR10's

OG Longer Beef Toobs, Felsenfast lockers, OD front, UD rear, VP wraith knucks., STRC chubs, Hand bros. mount, XR cvd's, Traxxas bearings.

The original plan was front and rear CMS, but after mock up it seems like I'd either have to go full on truggy or run it sky high to run any rear steer at all.

soooo

Plan B......XR rear long shafts, Axial scx plastic lockouts, Gearhead 4 link.

Some rolling stock: VP SLW V2's, MTHead rings, Baja Claws

Axial trans.: HR Hardened alum. gears, Traxxas bearings, 32p spur, Highland Crawler pin style outputs.

Now the fun part.:ror:

Cowl/armor hood insert. It will have some scale bolts and what not as I get farther into it.

Still got a long ways to go so this is going to be a slow moving build.

off to a good start!"thumbsup"

Thanks!

Awesome that you are moving forward with it "thumbsup""thumbsup" Get it together and roll out to our GTG's and test it out!! Love the low and wide look 8)

I havnt done much since the last time you saw it. It wouldnt be anywhere near where it is now without ya though. Thanks again for fighting that panhard setup for me."thumbsup"

You just dont know how bad I want to get this thing together and get back out there. Im glad to see the G6 events are taking off around here and a lot of guys are building some nasty scalers.

 Wow.....

I love this thing!! That grill looks perfect. Nice job with narrowing it and giving it wings. "thumbsup" Works perfect with the front bumper"thumbsup""thumbsup"

Thanks fellas!

I started building the axles a little while after the Wraith axles came out. The main reason I went with them instead of the ar60s is that there wasnt a panhard mount out yet. In the end Im still glad I chose that route. Mainly for setup reasons, but also I think the wraiths would have been a bit too wide.

Now, the verdicts still out on how well they take a screaming pro4 on 3s. I guess ill find out soon enough though.

I wish I had some more updates but, I dont. Hopefully I'll have a lil time over the weekend.

We need updates!! "thumbsup"

Haha, I know, I know. Its almost sad how long it takes me to get a runner going.:flipoff:

I have been working on a cab back and rear deck floor for it. Also some side panels. Hopefully I'll get em' finished up sometime this week so I can get some paint on it.

That looks cool, I like it!!! Subscribed

This is really sick looking!"thumbsup" Keep up the great work.

This thing looks really serious - great build, can't wait to see more! "thumbsup"

Hopefully it'll only get better! Thanks for the motivation fellas."thumbsup"
