Brood or HH?

But relative theory suggests stickers (especially Yellow ones) will add considerable power and chick attracting abilities.

What about a stickerless motor( Naked motor )?

Nope, Stickers are way way better.

See example below, This car would look like crap without that sticker on the door.

Man, I gotta ask EeePee where he got them sweet ass stickers.

Nope. Burned a wind, magnet came unglued, and that round brush cracked in half and took a huge chunk out of the comm. I tried to keep going and the motor got so hot the sticker peeled off. Total failure.

Fixed or repaired daily.

I told you the 1turn on 24s wasn't gonna last.

And it's F*cker Only Rolls Downhill!

1 turn would not spin sir.....

They'll never work..... :flipoff: At least John puts arms and brush hoods on his motors! LOL!!!!

Just giving you a hard time Eddie!"thumbsup" Those stickers look pretty cool though. Definitely a horsepower boost for sure.

I was telling EeePee it would never work.

New stickers look nice. Sticker Tune = Always good.

So... yojur website still confuses me. What are the specific deferences between all your crawling motors?

So... your website still confuses me. What are the specific differences between all your crawling motors?

I hope Eddie doesn't mind. This is what he had told me:

The types differ by something with the Armature...each description spells out the difference. Like an R is a 7.5mm comm arm, while a T is a 9mm.......a bigger comm will give a little more torque and efficiency, while smaller comms make more RPM and overall power.

That's the kind of info his website needs. I assume the test boils down to brush type and the amount of magnets in yhe can?

Till this day, the only reason I haven't tried the Broods is because I have no idea what I'm getting besides the wind count.

And that's why I suggest Eddie revise his website by adding some sort of "make your motor" menu. Like pick you comm size, then pick your brush stele, magnet count, wind count etc. If you go on there now, you have are names and wind counts with a rather generic description of the motor. I'm all for choices, but I want to be able to make am educated decision if I'm dropping $75+ on a single motor.

I've seen that, but perhaps the motors I were checking for specs on just were completed or vague. What I'd like to see is a back to back list. Something saying Motor A has lay down brushes and 4 magnet cans. Motor B has standup brushes with w magent cans. I don't want to have to click open each motor to see what it's packing. Something like that would easily allow a consumer to know that motor B is out of the picture etc etc.

Or what would be of great benefit is what Coop Had stated. Big comm provides this advantage, small comm does this, more arm segments does this while less does this. Stuff like that will educate consumers and ultimately allow them to pick what suites them best.

** EDIT **

Ok, I just spent about an hour looking at the Brood site. Seems I have found somehpthing that sparks my interest. The Apocalypse & Chaos 16 turns. But, according to their spec sheets, they are the same motor. What's the difference? The sticker? If so, whichnsticker gives me more power?

From what I understand, if you send EddieO an email about what you are looking for in a motor he can help you find the best motor for your needs.

When in doubt send an email, it's always better to have choices and buy something that you want for your rig then to buy the same pre built
Motor everyone else is buying.

I agree, all you have to do is contat him. He was very helpful picking out the new motors I wanted for my XR10. I explained what I was looking for and he broke it down what I would be getting and the difference. I agree the site appears to be a work in progress but it is coming along."thumbsup"

Only cause you got to work on the ford all day. Who's truck won truck of the year this year? O and they also paid the loan back "thumbsup":flipoff:

BTW, this is an old thread and alot of hear say from years past. I think it should be filed away

Still had to take a loan, if a company that big can't manage their expenses, then they deserve to go out of business.

As for the truck of the year, we'll see how long the truck lasts  They must of made a huge improvement from their 2010 truck, to make truck of the year.

I see more that are Found On Road DEAD.:flipoff:

Yea they're dead tired of hauling all the pos chevies that can't handle their load

whos the thread digger that brought this shit fest back up?

idk, thats why i tried to start some chit chat to get it moved so it won't get pulled back up:roll:
