ZZR's...now it's a REMEDY 3.5

Last weekend we did made a comp on my practice rocks. It was a hard day for the other drivers because i feel very save with my remedy and i'm happy to take the 1th with -193 points. Second driver ended with +40...233 points difference. We did made courses with 10 gates + 3 bonus / 5 minutes. Not easy but same standard like worlds 2014.

unbelievable what I always prefer for a stupid face down.

Your driving and the rig is a killer combination! We also started to drive with 5min and 3 -10 bonuses. That's really good way. "thumbsup"

Continue... 8)

Nice going Stephan
Thanks Arve

Very Nice Stephan!! Glad to see you take home a win!!
Thanks Derrick - by the way, i changed my holmes mini setup and now i could go much more faster and also saver. Thanks to got the chance to test your remedy...changing helps a lot...

Words sounds really good Samu and yes i'm also going conform with you about the 3x -10 bonusgates. It makes a lot of fun for me to go that way, but not all drivers love that fast way...

SAMU,
if you have a Concorde, you can come with Stephan in the south of France "thumbsup"

Great driving Stephan....... And nice shirt! Joel has an international club now!

Joel, can I hitch a ride when you have that bird fixed?? I have a few friends in France that want me to stop by

Nice job Stephan!"thumbsup" Makes me smile seeing you gents knocking out some sick courses. I gotta fix my Concorde so I can join you some weekends.

J
Thanks Joel and you are very welcome every day. I will build a start- and landing strip for your Concorde the next days.

He Samu and Joel, i think Pat will beet us. A little bird told me that pat took one time more the win at the last p.a.k.a. comp. Congrats for that my friend an It will be interesting to battle with you and the others next year at the same place you know so well. I will be a lot of fun and hard fight:mrgreen:

Thanks Barry and yes the shirt is nice. I think i'm not a official member of the BLC team, because i'm living to far away from the BLC spots to come over and comp with them, but perhaps one day in future they count me in as the first official european team member of the BLC philosophie:mrgreen:

BTW, I found a Reptile in the Crawlerkeller candy store at Supercrawl. Hope to finish it soon:)
very good choice, Team Sweden:)..the higher and shorter skidplate is really good. In the video i´m not able to drive five of the scenes with my old rig...with the Reptile now it´s possible...little differenz, but maximum effect

Your rig look extremely light and well balanced when you jump around in the afterworkvideo:)
What is your weight RTR?

ist´s not really extremely light, but good balanced for my drivingstyle. In the video i drove:

1688 g
+110 g for both side nuckleweights
+44 g Aku
=1842g

with the new NCD-Wheels it´s
1810 g RTR

...but today i got some thing to go to the next level and about 90-100g will falling down:twisted:

What do you mean with the 44g off Aku???

driving fast, clean and without uncertainty, it is thanks to your videos "impossible gates" if I so passionate about this sport. I always follow with great interest ...

Something new is in the house. In January we spoke with the product manager of multiplex/hitec about the new hitec brushless servos and i like what he told us.
I orded in february and it arrived in september after worlds.
The last i was very happy with my 7950, but i also have the problem i killed to much of them. The brushed way ist't the best way for a "border line crawler " like me...to much wheeltime...
Long time before i thought about to change, but i don't wanna loose the titanium gears of my Hitec.
The new brushless from Hitec uses the same titanium gears, but a special technology called "power miser" technology. It's generated the voltage and give back to the lipo. Sounds good, but it does't work with the BEC we use in our competition rigs. That's the reason why they offered the "PAD". The BEC block the generated voltage and the PAD absorb that. That's the way it work's fine, but we have to use the 3g PAD(one electronic piece more who could damage) and we could't work with the new technolgy. After some days thinking about i thought about going back to the second lipo way to use that cool "power miser" option. With these technolgy you will save 90% to brushed servos and it took only 1/5 of other brushless servos on the market. I thought if the technolgy really works fine, i could use a very small 2S lipo and i tryed and it works very good! I will tell you more about at the end but first some things to say why i did have choosen that servo:

- Titanium gears in high quality
- brushless motor from castle creations (special designed for the new series)
- 34kg / 7,4V
- 25 teath Servohorn, same like futaba
- m3 to fix the servohorn
- only 67g
- Noise is like 0 if you did't use
- good price
- programmable
- if you put voltage on the servo goes first slow back to zero
- constant power!

Why i will use a second 2S lipo only for the servo or the receiver?:
- only 10% energy with the "power miser" technolgy and i could use a very small lipo(100mah >)
- one electronic piece less who could damage in Competition(No BEC)...a part who isn't inside could't fall out on course
- more power for my holmes hobbies mini
- weight is same/same because no BEC

I did make a test on the carpet and the 100mah(6g) lipo hold up 37 minutes(Restvolt 7,44). If you need more you could take 350mah...2 hours driving and about 20g weight.
About the servo i have to say it holdes up the full power in every situation and i try hard! In the past the 7950 always went hot after testing on the carpet after 4-5 Minutes. The new one was cold after 37 minutes

If somebody will try the servo he could take different ways to use:
- with the PAD and BEC but without "power miser" technolgy
- without PAD and BEC but with PM and holmes hobbies hobbies bypass adapter and a 2S lipo only for the servo (that's my way because i would like to save the Receiver)
- without PAD and BEC / with PM but lipo used to give power to the hole receiver. It's working like a little "powerbox". The thing you have to cut is the red voltage cable from the HH mini's. If you did't do that your servo will be dead. If you cuted you could plug the 2S into the batterie port and the servo cable to the batterie receiver port.

Hope to get the chance for testing on my rocks soon, but at the moment the weather says no!
