Hi I am interested in purchasing the car mx 07 Monster Truck with the 160amp esc version

And note that it works with 8s
I wanted to ask how many milliamps are recommended
And of course I need 2 batteries of 4s yes?
of 14 volts?
I could not find the recommended settings

go fast rigs need a higher c count than crawlers and the quality of the battery is alot more important

i have exploded battery packs when using cheap crawler batterys on my gofast rigs havent had 1 go up in flames yet though but poped a few

so i would say get the highest c rating you can aford and don't cheap out on them

How much c is recommended

Recommended C rate will depend on the mAh rating of the battery. For this application, I would recommend minimum 5000 mAh 40C batteries. This will give you maximum of 200 Amps continuously from the battery (5 amps x 40C = 200 amps). A 50C might be better, although probably not required. Good quality batteries will have a "burst" rating which is usually around double the C rating. "Burst" is what the battery amp draw is capable of for about a 5 -10 second interval. The typical situation for this is when you go from stop to full throttle instantly, 400 Amps (5 amps x 80 = 400 amps).

I'm still debating, I don't know with to choose the version with a 150 amp esc that carries 2X 3S
Or an esc of 160 can carry x 2
4S

more power more fun also more broken parts
but just cause you buy a 8s capable esc dosent mean you have to run it on 8s
but having the option is always better than not

I'm looking for a car mainly for off-roading
which is large and can travel in non-standard places.

When I had a budget for x-max so it was good...

But at the moment there is none
