Yeti 1/10 RTR or kit?

I'm new to crawlers, and looking to buy a Yeti 1/10. I'm not sure if I should buy the kit or the RTR. If I buy the kit I need to get ESC, Motor, Servo and Battery. But in that way I also get to build the car and get to know it.

So what's your recommendation, RTR or kit, and if the kit, any recommendations for good solid components?

I'd go kit, get some much needed upgrades in the box, dont have to worry about ditching the RTR electronics, and you get to build it
