WW2 Sawback

WOW that was inspiring! Excellent work & by far the most creative build I've seen "thumbsup""thumbsup"
 
How did you mount the servo? I tried to fit a HXT900 back there but couldn't figure out how to mount it on the proper angle

Mounted a 9 grams servo (same same as HXT900 but different label ..) with hot melt tlim. And one reinforcement of carbon fiber on the firewall.
The steering shaft fitted with press-fit on the servo splines.
I attached servo to channel 4 and reversed the movement.
If the servo is moving in the correct direction at once you can use Y-cable from the steering servo.

Best Sawback build I've seen ! I think I was more excited to finally see someone trim the front fenders properly more than anything.

I know its old post but still awesome! Still researching all the Sawback posts to see if this is the vehicle for my Willys military first try? Great post and humor with cartoons as well.
 
This is one of the most entertaining build threads that I have seen yet.
Thanks for the inspiration even all these years later.
