I need some help before i order the Wrangler. Can anyone give me the width of the body at the roof and how long the roof is. Im gonna order a roof rack and light bar and wanted to know what my options are. Now to also decide on the kit version or go RTR. With the weather being cold now there won't be any painting going on outside.

The roof is 10” long x 6.5” wide

I greatly appreciate the info.

Hey, no problem! I bought the RTR and have had great luck with it. I did do a complete tear down right out of the box to check everything and marine grease the axles and trans. The electronics that come stock in it aren’t too bad either.

I did a build thread on mine if you want to check it out.

Go Kit. I bought the RTR and regret it as it basically needs to be pulled apart to check things, not to mention pulling the 2spd spacer.

The combo ESC / radio is 100% hot garbage.

I did go with the kit but im really gonna make people think im crazy because i also ordered the Bow House 3 gear adapter plate and gonna run the old og transmission and also figuring out a way to adapt an old set of AR60 axles to it as well. Lol

Nothing crazy about that. Sounds like a fun build.

Enjoy!
