WPL, JJRC, MN and Fayee trucks: Models, spare parts, upgrade parts

Thanks for this impressive list. Would love to know more about crossover compatibility. Need to replace plastic differential gears on my fayee fy003a with something metal, will WPL fit?

Great job on the parts list. WPL gets a bad rap, I bought one with a crap load of upgrades and not expecting much and boy was i wrong. super fun build and tough as hell when built properly. Now I am on my 3rd WPL build. I abuse them as much as my high priced 1/10 builds and have yet to break anything. So far I have not been disappointed.

I'm sorry for asking a rookie question. I've restored and built many real cars in my day. But I dont know the first thing about these cars. Last RC car I built was the Tmaxx in 1999 (still have it) lol. I bought my son one of the JJRC Q60 trucks. I want to help him mod it but dont know where to start. I want to give the truck proportional throttle and steering. As well as address the open differentials issue. Is there anyone here that can give me a hand so I can help my son? All the hobbie shops are closed around me because of the Covid-19 so I dont have anyone local to ask. Love this thread. I cant believe how much info has been added.

Hi,
first to buy normally are metal driveshafts.

I do not know, what your truck RTR comes with, ... but then choose an ESC, a better servo, and a cheap radio from the list.
There are many options.
