Winter is here again in Alberta. I picked up 15’ of #16 jack chain from Canadian Tire and made some tire chains for my 1.9 Goodyear MT/R tires. Total cost was $0.47!

First snow test was a success! I’m amazed at how well the chains perform in the snow. Now this rig is much more capable during the winter months...highly recommend!

Looks great. What kind of light bar is that up front? I’m looking for that type for the front of my bomber. Is it bright enough in the dark to drive? Also what size is it? Sorry for all the questions just been looking for a light bar just like that.

It's an RC4WD 1.5" light bar. I have powered through my ESC and it is bright enough. However, you can tie it directly to a 7.4V lipo for max brightness.

I added the 4.45” Pit Bull Rock Beasts paired with snow chains to conquer the snow. This is the best combo I’ve found so far for scale snow performance. I also added Boom Racing Kraita 8mm hex wideners for better suspension clearance on the snow chains.

Snow????

I chuckle because we hit our favorite local rocks near Newport Harbor Saturday afternoon...sunny and 75. Could have been in shorts, but t-shirt was great, and I got a little sunburnt.

It’s been chilly out here in Alberta. Wind chills of -32C as of late. Looking forward to some “warm” weather this weekend...supposed to be -3C!

How you liking this week? I'm in Calgary and do snow removal in the winter, double dose of hell lol.

Pitbull was kind enough to send me some of their new RACELINE wheels. These wheels are top notch quality and match up perfectly with the Rock Beasts! It warmed up a bit here (-23C) so decided to snap some glamour shots with the new wheels.
