What's up with RC4WD

I like RC4WD's scale details; winches, lights, toolboxes, tires...

They do make some killer stuff to scale your truck out.

I've only bought one complete truck from them, and I don't see myself repeating that mistake. If I do, I'll know going into it that I'm absolutely buying a project that happens to say "RTR" on the box.

I've pondered buying 1 a few times but always talk myself out of it. The body is the coolest part about it. Every time a buddy gets 1 he sells it or trades it for something else.

I like Rc4WD bodies and scale accessories ... just about bought one of their rigs but thanks to the feedback from Fallen ... decided against it.

one wonders what the Chinese markets will make once all the companies they copy from go away. It's not even a race to the bottom, but a race to non-existence.
"They" are drowning in their own crap, faster than they can get rid of it now! Its becoming cutthroat among them to try to get rid of it. Look at their e-bikes, scooters, solar panels, lithium batteries, brushless escs and motors, cheap and crappy toys flooding markets. Why do you think those things are so cheap but plenty now.

I'm no conspiracy theorists. However,
I'm sure you've read that "they" want to have 100% world domination in certain "aspects" , and have actually reached it in specific ways. I could go on and on vut

Honestly one of the most fun rigs I ever owned was my Marlin. Aside from electronics, it was pretty stock. Just a few free mods to the leafs and shocks. I'd take it on some technical trail runs in Las Vegas with the SCX10 IIs and everything and it held its own very well...except for sidehills. It was fun showing those bigger trucks up sometimes. Unlike the other TF2s I had, that one never gave me a problem.

I've got the itch to buy/build another small tire leaf spring rig. Trying to decide between another Marlin or converting a VS410.
I love the RC4WD Marlin. It hit the sweet spots and looked good doing it.

As there longest running team driver and person who has assisted them since Hua started the company I can understand the frustration... They have started to listen to me on some things...for example, the Baja belted tires and Lund style visors were done based off my recommendations. I have asked for other stuff but I dont know if its in the works or not.
