ok so i got a rtr scx 10.. well with a tcs xtrail chassis... but it is complete...
but it came with these...
what are they?
now the sidewalls of stock rock lizards (think that is what they are) were glued in.. so i dont know what the original rim size is or why they were done that way...

but trying to decide if they will work better than the stock tires on my ax10...

^^^ thanks something for me to read up on..
so were they bad for sidewall? trying to figure out why the original owner put rock lizard sides on it... gonna see what rim they originally took.. that may have some to do with it..

Or the panther cobras. Probably some custom made tires to fit the 2.2 wheel. They are a decent tire.

i have them in a 2.2 and like them I use them in rc truck pulling on soft tracks , work pretty good for me , I have not had any issues with mine

im looking to use them in a general crawler.. no comp.. but a backyard 3s brushed 27t proline tuber....
i like the looks... narrower than my rock lizards.... and got a lot of tread.. just want to make sure they hookup to rocks....

well i threw them on and WOW.... big thing is they are also weighted.. added MASSIVE weight to my rig.. my 3s lipod 27t dont move as well now.. i can see it..

buuuuuut this is a crawler.. i will have to take a video... and maybe swap tires back to test.. but with weight I was able to go up some rocks and onto a basketball net base.. that also had rocks stacked.. usually i gotta gas it to get up it if at all.. but it just went nicely.. so the weight helps... and the tires gripped very well..

now the 27t needs to go and a 35t is possibly needed.... maybe a 45t...

so not only did i loose speed.. i know it is a crawler...
but i also went from 5.3oz to 12.6oz on EACH TIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!

29.2 oz more total to make roll... i think my 27t isnt happy with that...

does anyone think that 12.6oz is too much for tire weight?
i know some people run 4oz up front and 2oz in rear.. or 6/4 or whatever..

im running 12.6 all round...

waiting on a 55t motor to come in so i will have a motor to turn them... just curious on physical weight.. if ANYONE ever sees a reason to be this heavy?
u figure i added almost 2lbs!!!!!
