What is Torque Twist (TT) and how to fix it.

I appreciate all the explanations. I have a SCX10 JK that I am learning to mod for better performance. Mirroring the trans is mentioned a bunch on this site. I guess it is totally worth it!

Lot of great info on what TT is so far. Maybe we can go through some ideas and real world advice on how to control it. I have been some what successful with moving the shock out board on the axle and more separation in the upper links. I haven’t been successful at mirroring the trans on the Ringer chassis maybe switching to a stubby motor this will be an option.

The Ringer is setup for the trans to be run with the motor on the right side which is "half" of the mirrored transmission procedure and probably the most important...but the motor will be facing rearwards. With a Stubby motor you could move the motor to the front side of the plate, but I think with as far forward as the trans mounts in the Ringer it's not a huge gain to be able to do that...and to me it's certainly not worth the cost of a shorter motor just to do it.

There's an enormous thread about all that. Can't think of the name right now but I think Cole82 started it.
