What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

I added a driver...

Congrats! Which one did you buy?

I went to the hobby store planning on buying either the G6 Falken Ed. or the Honcho (I assumed the Honcho would be cheaper and I'd end up with that one). The G6 was $50 cheaper then the Honcho, so I bought it!
Spent the afternoon just playing around on my street, seeing what the truck can do.
Hoping to figure out how to relocate the battery and take it out for another run this afternoon.

I like that color scheme.

I got a new g6 wrangler kit and axial nvs led kit delivered. I looked in the box. That's all I did.

Last weekend while running my SCX an Wraith with my kids, the steering servo in the wraith stripped (the stock one, surprised it lasted this long). After hearing some much needed good news from work on Monday, I decided to purchase some new RC parts including Robinson Racing harden tranny gears, 2 hi tec 645 ultra torque servos (1 for the scx an wraith) and a axial aluminum link kit for the SCX. UPS dropped all the parts off today (cant wait to get home to check them out), an I was looking forward to performing some much needed repairs/upgrades to both of my RCs.

Then I became interested in building a monster truck over the course of this week (I was poorly influenced by a friend compounded by some threads here... lol). So now I am browsing RCC classifieds for a rolling SCX chassis, an maybe some clod buster tires. This has become important to locate before performing repair work so I can make use of the SCX axles in my wraith (a 1.9 wraith build) allowing the wraith axles to be used on a monster truck built from the "new to me" scx all while leaving my current SCX untouched.

edit: My prior thought was to swap axles of my SCX an Wraith an build my SCX as the monster truck. But loosing my scx (being my first rc) just seems so hard. :-)

I've been wanting to airbrush a Candy Red body for sometime now, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll look forward to seeing yours.

Painting it right now and just realized I have no silver. So It's just gonna be backed with black only. Can't wait to see what shit this is gonna look like now.

Installed my crawler innovations deuces wild tall in my 8hole beadlocks with r35 ripsaws. They seem really firm though. But that could be because of the flat weights wrapped around the wheels

Like I said before...can't wait to see what shit this is gonna look like because I had no silver to back the candy apple red...just black. So it's plum color in the sun, black in the shade. Screw this noise, I'm just gonna pay a pro to paint a body for me.

Sorry to hear that. I'll paint it if your interested. I have Spax Stix Candy Red and Silver Metallic paint in my inventory. PM me. I'm not a Pro, but I can do pretty good.

Take a look at Wrangler-on-fire, City Slicker, and my G6.

Putting a Honcho body on my Wroncho and still trimming it. Getting ready to paint it but am undecided on the color. Burnt Orange or Deep dark red. I'm open for suggestions.....
