what colors make khaki or beige

I have a nearly complete selection of colors, but no beige. I want to make a khaki or eggshell, off white color for a body I'm painting. I figure white and yellow but what else??

i would go for a brown and white, then a little yellow. or i would go yellow and white then add tiny amounts of red and green and blue. then see where i am from there and adjust, i cant really tell from after that.

Start with White and mix in Brown. Stay away from Yellow. It will give you a Green tint if you mix drown in with it. Use White as you main color, the add a drop at a time of Brown. Then if you need to darken it. Add a drop of Black. Might want to try this in small amounts and keep track of how many drops of each you are using. Then you can do the math and up the next batch. Just write everything down. You'll be fine.

For the khaki i would say a few light coats of dark green and maybe back it with gray or black? Depends on which way you are doing it.

For beige, i have no idea sorry.

I'd do same what run2jeepn said, White as your main color. Try making two different batches like white & brown, then the second batch being white & yellow. While adding other colors to give that tint you're looking for. It would also be good to have gram/ounce scale to actually measure and also record what colors went into making the color your wanting.

I mixed paint for a living at one time try brown and add white till you like the color it should work for you "thumbsup"
