I'm looking for something that bring the wheel in as close to the truck as possible (as in Dez's example). So then I'm looking for positive offset?

You want a crud load of positive offset.

The entire world would be a better place if we all used backspacing as our way of measuring where the mounting surface is on a wheel.

Zero is flush with the inside lip. Start adding inches or millimeters as the mounting surface moves towards the outer lip. It's so easy.
